bugs won't go away just because you chose to ignore them
This is exactly my point, if it was so easy for yobit to fix this time zone issue, I'm more than sure they would have fixed it by now.
By meddling with that bot at this stage, we are risking even more troubles and you know how it is with support of theirs.
I say, don't fix what's ain't broken (at least not completely). I'm not saying that this issue is not bothering me at times, cuz it does, I just don't want to risk further troubles.

Could it be that yobit shortened the time frame which within you have to wear the new signature?
O, you... inactivity does not equal signature removal. Bot checked your account multiple times, it did not found the correct code, boom you're out. If it wasn't for that, jumping between signatures would be available and I think that's not fair to give us such huge flexibility in advertising whatever and whenever we desire at the moment. You can be inactive for 29 days but only with the sig ON.

You didn't and do not wear personal message. Case closed.
He might not have, but I had it on all the time. I took two days off due to family coming over for Christmas and changed to the new signature just now, but it's still stating disabled for inactivity.

On the other hand, this current counting system also works OK

How do you know that it works ok?

Really, if you have to avoid posting at around some time (which actually amounts to a period of time more like 3-4 hours and beyond) so that you don't lose some of your posts, I'm not really sure if it is rightful to say that the system is working fine. Further, if it works good for you personally, it doesn't in the least mean that it works good for everyone else, right? Simply put, bugs won't go away just because you chose to ignore them

What do you guys think?
Idea it's IMO good in itself, guess that would depend on yobit and whenever they want to put some extra work in to the bot or not.
On the other hand, this current counting system also works OK and we are risking some extra issues, bugs and lost posts.
Questions is, as we know how things look like with support, do we really want to tempt the gods of bugs?
I would say no, not worth it. Better to just avoid posting at around 8-9pm forum time and you will be good.

Did I not change to the new one quickly enough?  I didn't even know about the new one until tonight.
It could be. Was your yobit account still active before you changed your signature? And when was the last time your post was counted?

All my posts on the 24th and 25th were counted so how is that inactivity?

I decided to search this thread for you so that you would have a clear answer: it could be the answer:

Users have had 3 weeks to follow all the rules of the campaign and i'm still finding users daily that cannot or will not follow all the rules. No more warnings. If you do not set your personal message text as stated in the campaign, then you will be banned, no excuses.

You didn't and do not wear personal message. Case closed.

EDIT: A similar situation has arisen, so the lack of a private message may not be the reason ..

I believe the response he got have said it all, the UID said "disabled for inactivity" but i did some few search on their previous campaign back in the year 2016 and most of their campaign participants which have such inactivity respond are kicked out of the campaign either for inactivity or poor post which is why i checked your post history and i confirm that you much a one-liner poster.
But it's different this time, yahoo controls who gets kicks out from the campaign for post quality. Looking at the list of banned participants, aardvark15 isn't there yet.

Still, it would be very nice and welcome if Yobit added a button to the panel with which we could force the bot to check our post counts, say, once every hour (to prevent abusing the button). Even being able to use this button once a day could help us better understand where we stand

What do you guys think?
I would welcome that option. If that's not possible, they could configure the bot to count post every one or two hours.

Looking at my post history, your deduction actually makes sense to me, I posted 3 posts before 9 pm forum time and other posts just after,at least it gives me an idea on how the bot works. Thanks for answering.
It's not 9 o'clock like him said, I'm pretty sure about the time that bots count my posts, because I always finish all 5 posts. All posts are completed before 7 pm, they will be counted on that day (according to the forum time), posts after 7pm, they will be charged the next day. You can check your post again on it  Wink I believe it is correct

A full quote of what I said seems appropriate (with emphasis added):

It means that all posts made after 9:00 PM forum time will be counted for the next day because it's already a new day for the bot. But there is also a sort of middle ground since actual counting depends on when exactly the bot queries the forum. Technically, it doesn't matter so much when you make a post as when the bot counts it. Put differently, if it counts your posts after 9:00 PM, they will be counted toward the next day even if you posted them earlier

Regardless, the bot correctly counted my posts by yesterday's evening, so the issue is kinda solved (apart from the wrong post count on December 22). Still, it would be very nice and welcome if Yobit added a button to the panel with which we could force the bot to check our post counts, say, once every hour (to prevent abusing the button). Even being able to use this button once a day could help us better understand where we stand

I have been in this campaign for a while and today I just changed my signature to the new one.  However, on the Yobit.net site, I see that my UID says "disabled for inactivity" and I don't seem to be able to change back to my UID.  I have been active every day and always kept the signature.

Did I not change to the new one quickly enough?  I didn't even know about the new one until tonight.

btw i already made 2 posts but on yobit page, it's doesn't increase and as i know that the post will be counted every 3/4 hours but
my last post has been made more than 5 hours ago but it still not counted

Try to wait, I also feel what you are doing because the bot is late counting your posts on the yobit page, even though it's been 5 hours to still enter if your post is correct.
And I don't need to worry that everything will be posted and the balance will be added.

It looks like the Yobit website is down. Let's hope these are only temporary problems.

Edit: And is back again..

maybe because you didn't wear the personal Message?
I don't think there are any other errors, it's his responsibility, maybe he is busy and can not update, but the personal message doesn't wear, nobody else him causes.

Keep checking until the end of the day, my posts have not been counted yet, if this is an error from the other side, we will be okay
How many days that my yobit account doesn't update all my post, so this is the latest signature, any new instruction or there's no need to do but just to update our  signature.
Most people are not counted when wearing an old signature, it is probably a special case when you are still counted when wearing an old signature, and vice versa when carrying a new signature. All my posts are counted normally, about the case of deisik, he is counted less, anyone have the same problem?  Huh

It is not a reason, what do you think when you say you do not know about the new signature? It happened 2 days ago and what people are discussing is how the bot counts the number of posts, operating and checking for updates is the responsibility you have to do. Even if you are not carrying right personal text, do you think it is a reason for you to be removed? Clearly, it is your fault  Angry

Let's stay on topic everyone. This is a thread to inquire about the campaign like deisiks problem. Not a thread to discuss the damn airdrop.
This is exactly what we need to consider in this topic

Clueless!
December 25, 2019, 10:58:23 PM
Hi,
I would like to know when does a "day" finish when it comes to counting posts? I mean I posted 6 posts on December 25 forum time, but 3 were counted for December 25 and the other 3 were counted for December 26 in my dashboard.

It is pretty random...I posted 5 posts today at the same time more or less on hardware issues etc. A large post day indeed!

3 went on the last day and 2 went on the next day and I did them at the same time 6 hours before...

so the bot is irregular at best IMHO. I figure wtf, I probably should not post 5 posts every day even if I could and have a life...so some slip through...big whoop.

posts are supposed to 'enhance' your experiences on www.bitcointalk.org So I figure any btc 'dust' here is a gift and just ramble on as usual. Smiley
