He wasn't talking about forum moderation and banning. He was talking about being in this campaign.
What he was saying is that If yobit decides to kick 50% of us out of this campaign just for lulz he can do it.

I was referring to him kicking out spammers on the campaign, basically his moderation of the campaign and not the whole forum.  What I am trying point out is hilarious was apointed a moderator of the campaign for the main purpose of keeping out spammers, not to kick out people for no reason so I don't think it is even possible that he'd do such thing. He's kind enough to let a majority of insubstantial posters stay for a while. If you will review each participants post quality there are some who still has a spammer tagged in them bu hilarious chose to give them a chance to improve. Why would he do such thing as kicking out half of us for no reason if it will be frowned upon by most people in the forum. If he did that he's risking his competence of being a global moderator. Undecided

I said yobit could kick half of us out just for lulz. Not hilariousandco. Unless they tell him to do that.
Right now his job is to kick out spammer and he does that so I am not sure what is the problem here...

Seems like there is something some of you don't understand though.

Sig campaign is an investment. Not a right.
If he wanted to, the sig campaign manager could ban randomly 50 persons every week. Without any reason.

Well of course it wouldn't make any sense! But he could.
He doesn't have to send a warning first, or to explain his position or anything.

After I bet that if you feel like you have been wrongly banned, or if you want a second chance, well keep wearing Yobit sig and post better for a week or two. Then come back and show your good willing attitude. And maybe you'll get back in ^^

But the sig campaign could perfectly be closed tomorrow if Yobit found it no longer interesting.

First of all, it seem like you don't quite understand what a moderators job is. Hilarious as the campaign manager here does his job to prevent users from spamming. It doesn't eve make sense why you said he could ban users without any reason.  Undecided
Second, once you are out, be it if you leave the campaign you were kicked out and with the definition of banned, there is no other way for you to get back on the campaign. You're signature status onyour yobit will be inactive and you cannot link your UID on another new yobit account to re-join.

Unsubstantial posts:
...

I have randomly opened a few of those blacklisted users to see their posts and, at least for those i've looked, they did not look unsubstantial for me.

OFC there are posts and replies; i would like to sugest implementing a minimum word count for a post to be paid. That can be automated.

Now i'm scared of replying when my answer is simple enought and can be considered a 'poor' post.

Well maybe you and me have a different definition of what unsubstantial is. Bothering to stretch out a half-assed sentence with every post isn't substantial. When you check a users post and they're all one liners it is quite obvious this is all they are willing or think they have to do to get paid so they don't bother writing any more. And implementing a minimum character count wont help. Bitmixer has a 75 character one but that's still just a basic sentence so that's all the majority of their users bother to post. You see several people all with a bitmixer sig posting in a row all saying the same crap in one sentence just reworded slightly.

I would like to suggest to campaign that before ban users send a warning to user about posts quality. Tell him what isn't right with his posts and give him one more chance. I saw some posts too, and it wasn't unsubstantial, short answers, but made sense in the thread. If Yobit isn't satisfied with my posts for an example i would like to know why before be banned.

It's just a suggestion. I'm happy with this signature campaign service and i have only positive feedbacks about it. But after that big banned list, i'm a bit afraid...

A couple of months back I spent hours messaging everyone on the campaign to tell them about what is expected. Most didn't listen Rules have been added to the op so anyone shitposting or just reeling off mindless one liners have no excuse.

You're wrong. They are removed not because of the one liner post but if you could look through their post history, all posts seems to have the same thougt in it they were luke the same sentences but only rephrased and were posted in different threads. Most of these people were posting only on a certain thread instead of poating in multiple threads. Also I believe that the meaning of substantial post is that your post actually make sense. You will notice tha easily. There is a difference from a simple answer and an answer made just to spam.

I checked some of the links and i agree with your comment. I think if one is spending time just to learn more and share experiences with other users, there won`t be an issue. It is best just to forget about signature campaign and spend quality time. Hovewer i have to admit that it does worry me a bit if i have to give a short answer to someone in order to make something clear.

I am very happy with Yobit signature campaign so far and i can recommend to everyone who is going to make honest contribute on this forum.

excellent news that some of the spammers were cleaned up and Newbies not allowed.  YoBit is a great campaign and is getting a bad rap because of all the spammers.  I had someone throw some shots at me on another post because he lumped me in with YoBit spammers, I dont want to be ashamed of my signature.

All you can do at the end of the day is be you and let the dominoes hit where they land.
The signature does not owe it to any one here to have them in the campaign and can kick as they choose fit.

The line has to be hard at times due to the amount of people that exploit it. Maybe we all need to step it up and help in cracking the whip or you could always post better.

Believe a bot is used to find the spammer and some are reported by people that get sick of reading the same answer for 8 pages. I am not active in this thread because it usually is the same garbage posting over and over and people jumping over each other to respond to something that can be dealt through private message.

Just my opinion,carry on. Smiley

Unsubstantial posts?Huh? I branch created to advertise Yobit https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13925809

It is better to say that there is nothing to pay.

Mainly one liners. All in Russian.

It's not bad to create a thread about Yobit, but it doesn't really matter :-/

They don't pay you to create a post about them! They pay you to be active on this forum and promoting them by being active and useful to the community.

insubstantial posts coz your posts are all <10 words and you are obviously spamming. the campaign manager already give us a warning to improve our post quality but you didn't do any changes and thats what you have got
