Having a few issues with my deposit going through at the moment. It is 0.01 BTC which I thought would come up instantly (or fast like the FAQ page says). YOLOdice did register the TXID but It may be an issue as I already have another account and I made this one to specifically do a video review for my youtube channel?

Can you have a quick look into it? 1/4 through the video  Cheesy

YD tries to accept your deposit, but there are several factors involved. I decided to use BlockCypher's "confidence level" here and if their API reports the transaction has decent fees, propagates without issues through the Bitcoin network - it is accepted. Unfortunately some transactions are not, like they miss the required level for some reason.

Could you send me a link to the video, or TXID of the transaction, then I could check what actually happened (if you are interested).

Cheers,
Ethan

No problem it is all in there now Smiley I sent this tweet out in frustration to the general pain I feel with the blockchain at the moment:

Well, now i would talk about my experience on YoloDice, that for moment is really good.

I usually play in my free time, not more than 5-6 minutes per round and not more than 4-5 times per day. Not all day. Deposit are really Fast, as withdrawal. I deposited 0.03 , i had a profit of about 0,09 BTC. For now i say thank to Yolodice Cheesy Cheesy Grin

I played some time and unfortunately I did not win anything but stopped when I reach my earnings back and withdrew but it was fun to play. I must agree with all here.
I think it is better to invest into the site. So the next time I have some deposited I will put it into the site's bank roll instead this time.
Is there a minimum needed to invest I quickly looked at the faqs and think I missed that mentioned.
But 20% is a nice profit to get back. Wink
I'm thinking about investing in one of online casinos as well now. If I'm not mistaken there is indeed a minimum investment sum and it equals 0.01btc. What I've noticed so far is that it is some kind of a universal min amount in btc you can invest. But you better check out if they have this different types of investment (short-term and long-term one). Good luck to you!

Investment always have risk, looking at the site stats on the investment section, 50 Bitcoins profit from a total amount of 817 Bitcoins wagered on the site is really a good result with just 1% house edge.

And Yolodice does offers a leverage system for the investor to use, which I believe most investor would set it to the highest margin as per what most investor does on other sites, I personally like to set the margin to the highest too for maximum profit whenever I invest in casino bankroll  Smiley

200 btc waged and 50btc profits ? 25% ? Freaking insane. Nice site you got there. You habe seriously made 50tc ?? Wow !!
When I habe some extra money I  to invest with yolodice. Doesnt take much to realize its a good move.

The site has a 1% house edge. The fact that historically it has performed much better than expected should not affect your decision of whether to invest or not.

Please note that I do not vouch for yolodice.

Wagered bitcoins are 817+ maybe you did not notice. Though earning 50 bitcoin out of 817 bitcoins is also not bad but if it was 200 bitcoins then that would probably have been insane. The site is running well and getting players from every side. Gamblers really like fast and good dices and it is one of them so it was expected always.

Hi,

moooonu came with an idea to run a simple trivia later today and I agreed to sponsor the prizes. If you are interested, here's the ann thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/yolodice-trivia-contest-001-btc-in-prizes-starts-now-1773935 . The first trivia starts in ~2 hours from now! I hope you enjoy it!

I am thinking into turning this into a periodic contest, or maybe even add a "trivia bot" to spice the chat a little bit. It's not a critical thing for a dice game, but still fun.

Cheers,
Ethan

A trivia bot sounds nice. A bot who you can tip, pm the question and answer and it will do the rest. Cheesy

Yeah except the annoying thing with those trivia bots are that most of the questions that they take is from the same database, so its very easily to fool it. You can actually download this database yourself. You would have to make a custom database with different spelling and letters to make it fair but even then you would have cheaters that simply google the answer.

If you read past the first sentence of his post, you'd have noticed that the bot would be user submitted questions, not questions from some downloaded database. People that know the answers will almost always answer faster than someone can google it. If a google wins a questions, it's probably because no-one knew the answer and he googled the fastest
