Hello, I would like to reclaim my account with the ID of 888. However I can only supply my IP, 1 tip I know I received in the past as well as a potential email address that I used before I lost access to it, any chance in recovering my Isildur account?
Hey, as I mentioned to you in PM, you need to send an email to [email protected] so Ethan can help you.  It's best to send the email from whichever email you think the YD account is linked to.

Mr asking this here and not in PM doesn't reflect on you, just on me being lazy hehe. I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to recover my account and that's why I thought it best to simply ask it quickly here vs doing an extended support session that will most likely not bare any fruits.

@Ethan I only know my user ID was 888 and that I received a tip from Kiritsugu at some point, IP I used at the time was from South Africa.
(don't want to waste your time hence why I posted here)
It's not a waste of his time, or mine, it's just that he doesn't resolve stuff like this publicly, and he rarely checks the forum unless I ask him to.  It's better to send in an email so I can mark your ticket for him to see.

why support is not responding ? I was stolen the account where my balance beat , and your moderators cannot help me , do you help your player who trust you? all moderators knew my account that stole me , and yesterday was online, I told you and your moderators but didn’t do , I sent a screen in support and moderator , where I showed you how I sent the money , but chiefly your moderators themselves knew that my account was beating and stole me and the moderators did not help me . I know you are here now and do not answer me  I’m getting sick for 2 days and someone doesn’t help me. My account was stolen from me where the balance struck and now they don’t even answer me. No admin. I saved in support but there is no answer. and when my account was stolen, they beat online and I told all the admin and moderators but didn't
Firstly, please do not spam posts in this forum, or your messages will probably be reported.

Secondly, your support ticket is only 18 hours old, so it's not fair to say you've been waiting for 2+ days.  As far as I know, Ethan told me just now (in the last hour) that he already reached out to you.

Sending messages to Moderators about this kind of stuff does not help, because they cannot do anything about it.  All account access/recovery stuff is done by Ethan when he is online.

Indeed we cleared everything in a Chat discussion.

Cheers,
Ethan

I don't understand the hatred towards accounts that have signatures,

If anyone has anything to say about what I said I am gladly here to defend it, just don't act like what I said doesn't make any sense at all.

It is not a hatred of accounts with signatures,,, we all have signatures in general. It is about those who do not give constructive comments or comments that require you to actually read and understand.

What you said did not make proper sense: I quote you:
"I don't know if the website was able to recover that much from the wagering but I doubt it was that successful for them."

You did not read, you did not understand how the competition happened and yet you still can doubt it was successful.

If you have anything to say about things like that then you will expect people are gladly here to defend those things. Do not act upset if you call something out and people call you back on it.

Oh and well done to the jackpot winner! Early XMAS!

Also not sure what you mean. The competition costs Yolo upfront. ethan puts in money into the prize pool, which is why they all have a GUARANTEED prize pool. If profits are made, 50% goes to the prize pool. So as you can clearly see in the last competition, the site made a profit, even after paying out the guaranteed prize pool. In this example:

Prize pool: 1M (upfront cost)
Total added to prize pool: 3.4M

Thus, 3.4M profit was made, after deducting 1M for the upfront cost, the site made 2.4 M from the contest.
Ok, thanks for the explanation, I think missunderstood what Kiritsugu was trying to say. We are on the same boat Wink
Regarding the sig spammers ... its a problem that a lot of campaigns require posts in the gambling section but having people enrolled who didnt ever place a single bet - or are not interested in gambling at all. Those people HAVE to spam, they simply cant add anything valueable to discussions because they dont even play or use the sites they are promoting.

Your mentioned sports threads are a perfect example. People often dont respond to questions or state things making it clear that they didnt even watch the game. A (simple) solution to this problem? I don't know ... You see this behaviour all across the forum, some sections suffering more that others (just take a look at the Altcoin Section).

Bitdice is scam scam scammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
It happened. Someone had a lucky strike and nullified most of our LTC bankroll. Yep, this can happen.

Until we refill LTC bankroll, the max bet profit will probably ridiculously low.

To have a piece of mind after this loss we lowered max bet profit for other coins a bit, and these are rounded now so that the amounts don't change with every bet.

Congratulations to the winner(s), it was a fair game.

Cheers,
Ethan

Great day for the lucky players. Congratulations, that is really unreal big win.
Ethan double check everything he might be another Hufflepuff

I don't understand the hatred towards accounts that have signatures, if the person that claimed I was signature spamming didn't have any signatures I would say he is against it completely but @kiritsugu also has a signature as well and he wrote something we all know as well "ThE pOoL cHaNgEs" , yes sure it changes but does that change what I said to be wrong?

Let's look at what I said, "yolodice may have found some cheap dogecoin to do this otherwise it costs them a lot of bitcoin for it", I didn't say they HAVE TO find cheap doge for this, I said it must have cost a lot in bitcoin if that is the case, sure that is a possibility but cheap Doge purchase back in the day and now using it for promotion doesn't sound something impossible neither, how could anyone think this logic is "signature spamming"?

Plus, signatures doesn't pay THAT much honestly, it is smarter to have signatures because we will write anyway and might as well get paid for it but considering how little they pay, it is basically just going back to gambling anyway. If anyone has anything to say about what I said I am gladly here to defend it, just don't act like what I said doesn't make any sense at all.

The post was too comprehensive to be a sig spam in my opinion, if he wanted to spam he would have stopped after the first sentence Wink

Regarding your second paragraph ... shouldn't we completly cut out possible gains from the players during the competitions, the house edge kicks in anyways? All in all the competition would not take place if the yolodice lost a significant amount of money?

That is because the spammers are getting smarter these days. They think if they add 2 or 3 paragraphs people will not see them as spammers. But clearly, he was commenting on something old, and not even something he understood. If he spent just a few minutes to read, he would not have even made those comments.

Which unfortunately is what a lot of people are doing in the gambling thread nowadays. The sports section especially is just full of spam posters who probably never even watch the team or placed a sportsbet in their life.

Also not sure what you mean. The competition costs Yolo upfront. ethan puts in money into the prize pool, which is why they all have a GUARANTEED prize pool. Honestly this post just smells like forum spam for a sig campaign.  Did you even read the competition rules?

The prize pool grows along with site profits.  Sure, the prize pool total started at 1M DOGE, but the only reason the prize pool grew to 4.4M DOGE is because the site generated more than that in profits, and added 50% of all DOGE profits made during the competition to the prize pool.

Most of our competitions cost Ethan 0.50-0.75 BTC to run initially, not including if someone wins a bunch during the competition (or potential site gains due to the house edge).  We do not have "sponsors", and we don't get them any cheaper than anyone else does.

The results are actually decent enough compared to other competitions when you look at it, yolodice must have found some dogecoins that were cheaper for them or a sponsor, otherwise if they did this in bitcoin they could have given out a lot of money.

Looking at all other competitions the biggest prize usually gets stuck around 0.05 at most (you can check other competitions yourself) so I think giving out close to 1.3 million doge right now means a whole lot of money and they gave that just for the winner, the total prize was closer to 4.5 million doge which is 10 thousand dollars to giveaway for competition, that is a whole lot of money. I don't know if the website was able to recover that much from the wagering but I doubt it was that successful for them.

Their jackpot is not hard to win at all, I have won few with faucet. Smiley
People who are making larger bets have real chance of hitting one of the jackpots.
So you are saying that you have a real chance to hit the jackpot with earnings from faucets only? Is the jackpot tied to the amount you wagered? Eg if you wagered just a few bits the amount of the btc in the jackpot is lowered, too?

No, I have won jackpot playing with free coins from faucet. They are proportional to bet amount, I am saying that people who are placing high bets have reall chance since it is not  one in billion chance.
Odds to hit jackpot are one in 100k  and for example if you bet ETH it will be EV+ when prize reach 100 ETH
