If you buy, watch or participate in any way in ICOs:

you ain't a Bitcoiner.

Yes you read that right.

You are merely a profit fanatic.

It's ok but please don't ever say you believe in decentralized crypto for the people.

If you do you certainly don't buy that ICO and support the folks from the banks.

disclaimer:
2% of ICO project teams may be genuinely interested in the roots of crypto. at least 98% r not.

Still you trade it to bitcoins. Still you are into bitcoins . You invest on icos or news crypto with also bitcoins and you convert it to bitcoins when it is distributed.  As long as you are using bitcoin then you are a bitcoiner but if you are only using eth or waves then you are not exchanging it with bitcoins then you are not. As long as you are using bitcoins then still you are bitcoiner

I will rent out my signature for non scammy ICO things, but I haven't participated in any of them.
There are definitely some good ideas, and time will tell if they come to fruition.  I suspect many will not and that
many are complete scams.  The last part of that sentence is a fact; we've seen it.

I'm a bitcoiner, don't care what you say.  I own altcoins occasionally, but it's mainly bitcoin that I support.  It's just
too damn bad shops don't accept any other crypto than bitcoin.

What if I invest the money earned through icos in bitcoin again?

You are not a Bitcoiner
So, I'm not a bitcoiner if I buy some monero coin, right? Ico = altcoin, what's different? At least those are trying to get the altcoin still included on the bitcoiner too. Honestly, we all here caused by money because the crypto has deserved the early opportunity to the investor for building its money kingdom. I'm holding altcoin and I'm an altcoiner, I'm holding bitcoin and I'm a bitcoiner.  Roll Eyes

Okay? But blockchain technology is inherently better than the bullshit banks can do at the moment. Yes, ICOs are mainly for profit but at least the ledger is public and immutable. Try walking into Wells Fargo Corporate and asking to take a comprehensive look at their records... not happening.

ICOs represent a happy medium between the idealism of Bitcoin and the reality of the world we live in, my friend.  Grin

The last 2 lines are the summary of project teams who are creating token sale events nowadays. Their projects does not need crypto technologies. If I'm not interested in crypto assets, I would still invest in ICO for more profit.
