Well...

This is probably one of the most significant inventions in the history of mankind. We are early adopters. It's not just a nice economic boon but a mental one as well.

You, sir, get a tip not just for this post (I place Satoshi right below the likes of Alan Turing, Rosalind Franklin and Nikola Tesla), but for the username "HayekSplosives". Grin

Now u can't break it up to a satoshi.

You can. Example: 1.00000001 BTC.

You cannot do that with USD.

What about 0.00000001 BTC? Btw, my BTC-e USD balance has 7 digits after the point.
I'm not sure about that. I think it will be a lot easier to send negligible amounts like that in the future, if Bitcoin becomes extremely expensive.

Bitcoin is like that restaurant nobody goes to any more because it's too crowded.

Wut? How can bitcoin become too crowded? The more people are using it, the more useful it becomes so more people will want to use it. In case you didn't know, you can break out a bitcoin up to 0.00000001 so there is enough for everybody Roll Eyes

Try to look at that sentence in a less aspie manner.  There's this thing humans have called humor.

Interesting, first time I've heard anyone mention Aspies on BCT. We are definitely the driving force of Bitcoin! But I'll be honest I don't get the restaurant comment, why would no one want to use Bitcoin due to it being too popular  Huh

I was always saying that Bitcoin is a snowball.

Yes it's rolling down hill picking up more and more snow as it goes. Lets just hope it doesn't hit a wall.   Shocked

Reading this forum I noticed an interesting thing. Bitcoin fanatics (don't confuse with true bitcoiners) are very biased. Arguing about future of Bitcoin they love to mention Internet in 1990s, when almost noone believed that it would become widespread. But if someone else mentions Tulipomania and compares it to Bitcoin, these fanatics becomes very angry and a discussion usually finished with personal insults.

If you are a veteran member of this forum, you already know how many people here are biased. But if you are a newbie, don't think you will meet a lot of sane people here. Most of the users are sockpuppets, keep this in mind...

Well, everyone has his own point of view. Just that some people cannot accept other's people point of view and end up raging. Just ignore those people Smiley

Did you compared tulipomania with bitcoins using facts and good arguments?
Or you just said "hey guys you know what? bitcoin is a bubble. Cya!!"  Embarrassed

Oh, the alt accounts.
The TradeFortress battle vs. the alt accounts.
The drama (CoinChat/WhiskChat) brought here for no reason.
The spambots.
The hacking.

The giveaways.
The altcoins (better now, though)
Will it all ever stop and just let us talk about Bitcoin?

$1MM per bitcoin is not really that far fetched as you might think, watch the video where Balaji Srinivasan (Co-Founder and CTO, Counsyl) speaks about an early stage investment in FaceBook that yielded a 30,000 x ROI.

But bitcoin had already a 30,000x price growth, right ?  Smiley

That is good advice. Many Bitcoin "fanatics" like to spread positive news, because they think it will encourage buying.

That's where the "troll box" of btc-e came from.
The more you buy, the more they'll profit.  At least that's the idea.
