It's a good news for bitcoin to do so when it comes to buying abroad that the bitcoin recognizes that there's a bit of a problem here when it stops bitcoin so it's not going to take it as a payout to buy valuable things first Take cash if bitcoin is available especially in this country.

Recently, KFC Canada has received Bitcoin payments in no time. However, Bitcoin can only be used online, and only to purchase a new item called "Bitcoin Bucket". And all these special transactions will be carried out by Bitpay, a fairly common Bitcoin trading tool. This is very interesting news, I can help with Bitcoin in my coutry. Roll Eyes

This is great news for all consumers in Canada, I hope the network for everyone will receive Bitcoin as a legitimate payment and I hope it can be implemented all over the world including in my country Indonesia.

Its a good start to Bitcoin adoption. A reputable franchise such as KFC accepting is big considering that bitcoin is already  facing lots of obstacles in its growth and development stage. This might just be an encouraging factor to other stores too accept BTC a factor that that will increase bitcoin usage. The more people will start using Bitcoin, Utilizing its efficiency and safety,as a result the market will increase and the value wiull shoot, just what the crypto community needs

It's good to know that news about the moves of KFC using bitcoin, and hope other fast-food chain will do the same way. There are also remittance centers doing that using bitcoin in their transaction. It's good and easier now to do any transaction trough internet with bitcoin and it is hassle free.

I also hope that one day bitcoin will be put into online payment. But it is best to let altcoin do that task because it's cheap, fast, and it's better

I think this is a step in the direction that is nice to have, especially in the bitcoin brands KFC on its symbol. Although for the moment the payment via online. If this idea goes safely and successfully, I think it will be, other large companies would join. then it surely will quickly spread evenly to the entire city and country specific.

Yeah I heard this news quite a while back and I personally felt that it was a smart move by KFC since there are lots of people getting into crytp currency every single day. I wouldn't be surprised to see other's like mcdonalds or burger king doing the same thing anytime in future. It was really a huge step up for KFC for sure tho  Smiley .

It had intented to use bitcoin as a tradeable tool but it has become an investment tool by the end of the day. It has some problems to convert itself to a daily usage coin as it is high to obtain and high transaction costs.

This is really a good thing in Canada. This could be the first step to using Btc on purchases or payments. If more successful, large businesses will be involved in this field and this is the great development.
I would be happy if I could use btc or other crypto to buy KFC

More restaurants to accept bitcoin please! I really love KFC but i want more and more restaurant and also store to accept bitcoin so i can threat my family by just using bitcoin so they will believe me that it is a currency also and not just a piece of item in the internet because they are thinking that it is useless so i want to show it to them that it is not useless by using it as a payment.

That is a good step from them. I think they want to test the payment with bitcoin and after the success of that test they will implement the payment in bitcoin for the whole of the company and they will accept bitcoin in all of their branches in all over the world. If it happened then the demand of bitcoin will be increased much higher as most of the people around the world are their lovers.
One step ahead. If supported by government regulation it will be more fun. But, although bitcoin can be used as a means of payment, I prefer to make it an investment, because the use of fiat is still quite effective.
this is true that fiat are more good specially in payment just what we have been traditional to do for in terms on paying what we are able to pay for if this is online transaction this kind of payment by bitcoin are pretty much good too.

I wonder how quickly and conveniently it was a deal with bitcoin ?!
I can assume that it's faster to grow and fry than to wait for a transaction through bitcoin. Grin

The KFC network in Canada offered customers the option of paying for food using a crypto currency. It is reported that the action is temporary, also be paid by the bitcoins will be possible when ordering through the Internet. Specially for the fans of crypto-currencies in the assortment appeared "Bitcoin-basket" - a bucket with chicken legs and wings. An action dish costs about 0.0011204 bitcoins

This is a commercial advertisement. I think KFC pays much attention to using the media to publicize its own business. This is certainly a good thing for bitcoin. As we all know, bitcoin is a news focus. I hope that more commercial websites can be applied to bitcoin in the future.
Yes, i guess this was made just for marketing. How much people will really want to pay 20$ for chicken basket and 10$ for transaction fee? Maybe just some cryptogeeks but nobody more.

Major (9 Billion USD)  payment provider Stripe has just announced today they stop supporting Bitcoin payments - they conclude it because fewer and fewer are using it, and at the same time fees and transaction times makes it useless as a means of payment. You can see the details on their own website: https://stripe.com/blog/ending-bitcoin-support

From what I have heard, the real reason was not the lack of users, but the high transaction fee. The fee hit a high of BTC0.001 to BTC0.002 ($20 to $40) per transaction in December 2017, and a lot of merchants and stores stopped accepting BTC after this.
