I did not know this, good thing to know that you already can buy this much stuff at their website.I hope that this means that they are going to expand. It will be good for the future if we will be able to pay with Bitcoins at other stores,
To answer your question: We run our own search engine with our own software including web crawlers (spiders), servers and lots of hard work, kind of like "Google for Bitcoin". Though we don't use any technology from Google other than tangentially searching for or investigating new merchant leads by Googling them manually, and usually it's to confirm their acceptance of Bitcoin.

Well its amazing and a good project supporting bitcoin ,i hope to see some things avable at my country soon,and i believe besides ads they are promoting some projects with their referals links soo they earn an easy and fast bitcoin with it.

I think there are voucher sites, where you can buy say walmart vouchers and then use those to buy groceries
Its def a step in the right direction, i just made my first proper bitcoin purchase the other day from Huel.com. its a food supplement site, and it went so smoothly.
Yeah this is a great start for them now people can actually buy stuff with there Bitcoins. This will motivate even more people to go en use Bitcoin. 
I dont like Ver at all but i could say that is is a great option in bitcoin.com. Bravo Ver!
I do wonder what the idea behind this is; more attention to their forum or /r/btc? They do generate profit with ADs I assume. Maybe hosting it on a separate domain would make more sense.If this is true is a good thing you can now use your bitcoins to buy things so I am glad they are doing this.
This is just a search engine, these places have already been accepting Bitcoin.So I did some searches for a couple of electronic devices I am interested in purchasing but unfortunately the search results were very limited and I couldn't even find some of them at all.

It's hard to buy things with bitcoin in my country too . I had to import things just to buy something because there's still soo little shops that sells things with btc.Would love if I will be able to buy with Bitcoins - food and clothes, and even my own first home that I will buy with my earnings...
I hope bitcoin will be used commercially for every shops just like fiat.

Yeah nice new but I'm waiting for the moment when I will be able to go to the store in my street or city and buy something with my Bitcoin debit card
Or to go to the cinema, cafe bar, restaurant and pay with BTC.
We just got first Bitcoin ATM in my country but still almost nobody accept BTC here.
It's nice to have so many online choices to spend bitcoin but I'm looking for the day when we will be able to spend bitcoin also offline.
