It's all competitors spreading disinformation.
Butterfly Lab's competitors wanted the company to fail so they discouraged preorders and slandered and libeled its founder.
Make no mistake, these anti-Ripple announcements and posts are paid for by people who are heavily invested in Bitcoin and the Bitcoin protocol.
The transformation of Ripple was influenced and foretold by Satoshi himself. The protocol rocks - it was built in 2004 before Bitcoin.

When someone is funding ads like this it is obvious their BTC holdings are threatened by a superior protocol.
