Well electronic currency is good, we dont support the scammy side, but do want it to thrive as a whole which is why we have a safe haven for people to come that want to be free of hostility.

But you know that may explain it, because its a massive coordinated ddos. Ive got every aiden pool as a fallover in my conf and then solo at the end like any good miner should and about an hour ago all of them went down at once. Was pretty crazy.

Oh, hopefully things will get better soon. It might have been an attack on the coin directly (which I doubt), but it was more likely because of this huge DDOS. I don't even know how someone managed to pull this off.

My friend, Franko is only used as a voting tool in the collective, sure you could use any other coin to vote with. As it stands now we have many coin dev members and we help each other do alot of things. We helped curecoin last year with tons of donations and paid people to fold@home, we do coin updates for each other and generally just help each other with whatever is needed, be that with a new pool, perhaps a windows compile, perhaps even blockchain attack mitigation. Together we are a collective unit. We simply call it the Franko collective because that is my name and I am the founder, we have actually debated on changing the name to Crypto Collective just to help clarify that its more then just FRK in there.
