I think you're right. Yes, it is in some cases, especially for those who are really addicted, those who can't control themselves can't live without gambling (I mean people who doesn't want the day passed without playing regardless of what they loss). Maybe you need a Gambling Counselor/Gambling Addiction Therapist already if that's the case because you want to change, but you can't help but play. You need to make a way before it also affects your social life, relationships or career.

Yes, way better if you quit from gambling. Because so many dangerous thing if you get addoction. But as long as you can control yourself, as long as you can control your emotion, just do what you want.

I agree that we all have to do that. We have to quit gambling and start doing something else. We can spend the money and time we use to gamble on our hobbies or creative projects. Gambling is like a prostitute. It can give pleasure but also demands money for it. And we may also catch a disease (gamling addiction). The worst thing is that there are no condoms here.

Well that is really hard to do if you want to get back your losses with gambling. I would say if you really want to start a new life and beginning you must accept defeat first, accept that you are being defeated in gambling and gambling is not the thing for you. For sure that is going to help you to move forward to find some more good things to spend your time and money.

One things lead to another and these persons starts to show signs of forgetfulness , signs of depression and feeling sad without any reason. If such is the case, they should stop gambling immediately.

Other persons who remove a part of their money as a bankroll for gambling monthly don't get these symptoms. Usually these are persons who follow tipsters and they don't care if they win or lose but if they win for sure they are happy.

Exactly , theres a lot of sports bettor and poker players who already makes a living out of gambling. I think this advice are useful for people who can't control their addiction.

This was a great topic ,also i agree on some point that have been said , most of the time gambling wrecks your lifestyle .it will let the person to much focus on gambling and don't recognize that they have been losing his lifestyle ,health and family . As said it has a psychological ,physical and overall mind set up. Gambling when it becomes severe it have bad effects .

it is a nice and long article, but it is only true if you are mistaking gambling with a method of investment and lose your mind over making bets non-stop in casinos and lose money over and over.

but instead if you look at gambling as a way of having fun, like when you go to the amusement park and spend some money to play the games and have fun, then none of that is said here is true about you. because you wouldn't be wasting time instead you will be enjoying your time.
