No, I don't believe so. Bitcoin or any other crypto doesn't have any role in saving the economy.
The factors which are responsible for the economy are Inflation, Gold Reserves, Import Exports, etc.
I believe one of the reasons that brought you here on the forum is to benefit from the features bitcoin has come to offer to the economy, if bitcoin has not been by any means good for you then you wouldn't have come to it global platform like bitcointalk.org
Understand that bitcoin is the game changer of the economy, its a global decentralized digital currency which is not tied to a specific region and its limitations, look at the statistics of bitcoin users how it is increasing on daily basis, the economy now revolves round the blockchain technology which bitcoin has already initiated at first. Come to think of privacy, security, trust, fast, less charges on transaction, employability, accuracy, reliability and decentralization, all this are part of the benefits bitcoin has come along with to help boost the economy more stronger than the effect of what gold could offer into the economy, as a matter of fact bitcoin now is more trending than gold in adoption and profitability.
