The Future Of Work
this got me thinking... with such losses and such debt soon a loaf of bread would be worth $10,000...

is this governments way of making the dollar divisible by more zero's then 2.. to try competing with bitcoin

Cheesy (sarcastic face)

My grandmother was a young mother in 1923 in Germany when they had hyperinflation.  She said on payday, the women would go collect the money in wheelbarrows as soon as it was available and ran to the stores to buy their loaf of bread before the value fell and they couldn't get anything anymore.

But we all know Fiat is safer and more real than crypto currency, LOL.  It has the government backing it!

Hyperinflation
Nazi fanaticism
Mass murder of millions of Ukrainians

but none of this can ever happen again, no, not in the U.S.A.!

I can argue right now we are becoming a fascist state.

yes, when we become sheeple, we get what we deserve.

I think that was an overnight loan so these banks could clear their books.   It was paid back

Different than Mt Gox

Wow.... its truly suckers born every sec...  Roll Eyes

Dude learn the facts before you speak.   Bloomberg article was wrong.   Grayson got his info from Bloomberg and not research.  Coleman couldn't answer his question cause she wasn't prepared.   Money was not missing it was overnight loans that were paid back

Of course they know where the money went, but you may not want to know:

1) The Afghan and Iraq wars, $2 trillion.

2) $1.3 trillion for the Bush tax cuts.

3) Red state welfare (federal taxes received versus federal taxes paid):

Of the twenty worst states, 16 are either Republican dominated or conservative states. Let's go through the top twenty.

New Mexico: $2.03
Mississippi: $2.02
Alaska: $1.84
Louisiana: $1.78
West Virginia: $1.76
North Dakota: $1.68
Alabama: $1.66
South Dakota: $1.53
Kentucky: $1.51
Virginia: $1.51
Montana: $1.47
Hawaii: $1.44
Maine: $1.41
Arkansas: $1.41
Oklahoma: $1.36
South Carolina: $1.35
Missouri: $1.32
Maryland: $1.30
Tennessee: $1.27
Idaho: $1.21
Does anyone else notice the overwhelming presence of northern "rugged individualist" states, like Alaska, the Dakotas and Montana, along with most of the South? Why it's almost like there's a pattern here or something.

Where can we find liberal bastions California, New York, and Massachusetts? California is 43rd, getting back only $0.78 for every dollar it sends to Washington. New York is 42nd, and one penny better off, at $0.79 per dollar. Massachusetts is 40th, receiving $0.82 for every dollar it sends to DC.

The big question here for both the Federal Reserve & Mtgox...

Were these funds truly "lost", or intentionally stolen by the owners?

Call me jaded, but my vote is the later in both cases.

Nope..
Wow.  This reinforces my belief in BTC.  A currency, any currency, that cannot lie must be a threat for a reason.  What is that reason?

Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Florida: "I am shocked that nobody at the Federal Reserve is keeping track of this."

i watched it a couple years ago and i was shocked at the losses yet 2 years on the news spews out stories of how the people owe trillions, yet no one mentions the 9trill that the fed owes to people. it just strangely becomes a mixed in amount that 'people' now owe
