My biggest regret had to do with the amount if time I wasted before joining the Bitcoin wagon. I was totally oblivious of this blockchain technology even though I had people around me with the technical know how. I would have been profiting better than currently.

I regret the use bitcoin might be just one thing. that is, I never really meant it to save bitcoin I get in a very long time. it makes me sorry to see the current bitcoin prices, and think; that maybe I could buy a car if the store bitcoin I have had in a long time.
We can't blame ourselves since we don't expect Bitcoin will rise like that since it has a potential. However, if we just predict that Bitcoin will hit we it has now, we should be a millionaire right now. Atleast, it's not too late to be on the pump of Bitcin. It has a potential that it will rise up more. Hence, we shouldn't miss this opportunity.

That is right. I used too many bitcoins in the past.

I think my regret is that I was not very interested about bitcoin at the begin and refuse to invest money in this type of currency. And because of this fact, I have lost about more than 10 chance to become rich with Bitcoin. LOL. Right not, I am collecting bitcoin as fast as possible and i convert about 80% of my salary into Bitcoin. Damn, who know when will bitcoin become stronger than FIAT?

I definitely regret seeing the price around $30 and looking at the charts and thinking I missed the boat on its rise from $1. Then I watched it head all the way to ATH  Cry

Didn't cash out when its was like 1000$ and bought again when it fell down..

that was my biggest mistake

I can't see any regret here. If you can just look upon the price of bitcoin now, is now back to $1,000 and keep on moving forward.

I can consider buying at lower price is my regret but I won't say that it is my biggest regret.

Maybe not believing my friend for encouraging me to go with bitcoin earlier is one of my biggest regret in bitcoin.
You might talking about holding bitcoin in the long run right?
It is indeed still worth to keep holding till there is no interest in bitcoin then you should start to worry.
Regret only when you failed to hold yourself to sell your bitcoin in higher price , as for example where in the next few hours the price increased drastically up to 30% but then you did not hold any bitcoin.

Yes and I guess there is nothing to regret about it because if he didn't sold some of his coins at $1,000+ look at the price now.

The price seems to keep on pumping and if you regret to sell it way back then, it is the right time to sell it now.

But it depends on your satisfaction, if you are satisfied with the current price, go sell it.

My biggest regret is selling my almost 4 bitcoin for just 550$ and that is my biggest regret ever since i started bitcoin. But now, I already learned the lesson that i will be more patient and just choose long term rather than short term investment because based on my own experience. Long term is the best and it gives high returns on your investments.
Almost half the users mentioned selling at lower price as biggest regret, but the truth is not that because every user who sold at that time too gets benefited or could have used the sold amount for some necessity. It is not wasted for unwanted purposes.

my regrets is too being scammed in bitcoin
very pityfull when i trust someone but they cheated us Sad

If you do when the transaction of course should use escrow services is the best choice. I think it is stupid, if you deposit bitcoin to someone who is not yet known, bitcoin is very simple but full secure, open wallets are no more than 10 minutes. Hi

What are some of your biggest bitcoin regrets, and what were you thinking back then?

Besides "not getting in sooner"  Grin

Obligatory: BFL  Tongue

EDIT: Bitcoin "mistakes" go here =)
My big regret in the bitcoin was the scam . I was scammed by a person who teach me bitcoin lesson .
He told me he will give me a trick to make huge amount of bitcoin without limit , but he will take 0.019btc for the trick .
I made work hard in the faucet site for free satoshi per hour and finally I made 0.019btc but when I gave to that person who was saying will give trick , scammed me . He take the bitcoin and gave a stretagy of gambling in the freebitco.in that was totally irritating and not much profitable .
Then I left bitcoin for 1 year but after 1 year I come back and started all things by own .
You are probably destine to stay in bitcoin, your sad experience must be a lessons learned for you. When we are newbie, it cannot be avoided we got fooled by people who has nothing to do but to scam in the community, actually you do not lose a big amount compared to me.

I have invested in HYIP's in the past and as far as I remember, I guess I was able to put at least BTC0.1 in total. I diversified actually thinking some of them were legit, but I was wrong then, and was sad for awhile, I'm just thankful I have move on fast unlike you that it take a year. Anyway, good job boy.

Getting inside bitcoin earlier times is the biggest regret and this is the thing on which most people do really want to say because if we are included on one of its earliest adopters then we could really say that we are indeed rich as of now but well no one really knows about future.

I would say transferring 1200 btc to a soft wallet on and external drive and loosing it back in 2010! Gaaahhh! Shocked I tried for a year to remember my wallet address too
Just got back in the end of the year and my mind is freaking blown!! I could have been a millionaire

Congrats on your third post!

I'm worse off than you! I stopped mining cause it was gonna take a roughly a week to mine the next block of 50 bitcoins…and I never even tried GPU mining. I had decent hardware for early GPU mining too. Dumb.

Like others, I regret having sold in situations where it was not possible to get maximum profit, however, that's not my greatest regret. I think the biggest regret is not having invested years ago.

My biggest bitcoin regret is that I didn't knew of this currency in 2009.
If I had known it that time then I would probably be having more than 1000 BTC now.
