Ethereum, the second biggest cryptocurrency in the world in terms of the market capitalization, now is changing hands at $464.68, while its market capitalization accounts for $44,678,905,662. stands steadily and has all the potential to overcome the pioneer-cryptocurrency. While many investors seem to be bothered with the potential of regulations of initial coin offerings (ICOs), others see this issued as quite overblown and not really relevant to the Ether value.
The Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, has recently become one of the 50 most influential people according to Bloomberg ranking. Earlier last month, he had shared some Ethereum future plans with the public, which, in fact, promise to contribute to the overall development of the cryptocurrency in the upcoming year.

another one to add to my list is EnjinCoin. The concept of minting coins into virtual goods and trading them is very interesting, and they have a great team of engineers.

With so many ICOs, I can't really tell which one is the best option, but I believe in the potential of DeepOnions and IOTA.
Many coins have a great future, I can't tell you which one to buy you have to chose it by your self.

For me my pick is still bitcoin because of it's rapid growth, insane price leaps and stable price. It is a good long term investment for assets a safe haven for your money and in 2018 it may reach new all time highs with it's original technology which is the blockchain that is unhackable, decentralized also with anonymity and it is the 1st and the king of all crypto currencies.
Fortunately, every year the altcoin market seems to be pushing the borders towards new and unsuspected limits, so I am sure that the altcoin of 2018 has not yet been launched or is in the process of being developed. In the same way, at this point in 2016 we did not know that in 2017 there would be phenomena like Cardano, Iota or even DeepOnion with all its controversy.
But I have no doubt that 2018 will be a year of wonderful and exciting surprises that will undoubtedly go beyond this dying and surprising 2017. I really love this crypto universe!

As for now Litecoin is my choice

Pure percentage-wise it will be something under 500 million in market cap. Ark and PascalCoin are ones that I know about. There are many others I have yet to research. Personally I think PASC should be trading 20-40 times it's current market cap, and Ark should be above Lisk, around $1.2 to $1.5B.
