Ancient Rome during its peak.  I love the grand architecture and the precision and polish they were constructed with.  Today we have ugly ass poorly crafted cheap trailer trash homes and shitty architectural designs.

i'm from the Boston area originally, so that'll always probably be my favorite city. gotta have love for where you come from!

I enjoyed Iceland, amazing place to be visited, in winter it was great.

but you need to know some stuff to understand everything

in the beginning it's that neanderthal habitant I talked about, then you can see a Roman emperor (which was born in Vinkovci ), the composer you see is actually writing the Croatian anthem (because the composer was from Vinkovci ) etc.

every single historian in the video is actually a real person that did something significant

later on you get to see Vinkovci in real time, performed from around 7-8 musical bands that originate from here

The oldest city in Europe (2nd in the world), the city of Vinkovci















the last one is the habitant of neanderthals

The city is inhabited since 6300 BC (continuely habited for 8300 years)

The town has the oldest serial metal production in the world

(3000-2600 BC)

The oldest calendar in whole of Europe was found here (Orion)

It was created in the same time as the Egyptian and Sumerian calendars but here the stars are much more definiable, and the zones mark autumn,spring,summer and winter

In 4th century the town had 10 000 people while London in the same time had 40 000

2 Roman emperors were born here (Valens and Valentinijan)

2 Christian martyrs (Eusebie and Polion)

During the Turkish conquests the cities population has gone down to only 20 people (from it's glorious days of almost 10 000 in the 4th century)

Today the town has 35 000 people and we're sort of an archeological El Dorado

Every time something is digged, something is found

For example Akvilas silver (over 36 kilograms of Roman silver dishes)

But unfortunately, altough such rich history

Everything found is sent out to other museums, and our town has the biggest unemployment rate in our country

With 35 000 people (23 000 capable of working)

16 000 are unemployed  

If you follow UFC, you've heard of Cro Cop, he's from our town

We have much more local celebrities (but they're big only in our country )
