The first betting as I recalled was when I was still around 8 years old and we had a game with my cousins of whoever hit the marble first would win and would get to have around $5 for the first person to hit the target. Eventually I was unlucky and never got to win that game.

As far as I can remember the first betting I had when I was playing cards with my cousin we called the game here "tong-its" my cousin was the one who taught me how to play it. I think our bet was around 5 cents and I was just 8 years old at that time.
Wow 8 yrs and you started with the bet as well. Till 15 I was not even knowing betting and casinos as in our country this is ban. I heard in news about it and then slowly started to understand about it as was reading an article in newspaper regrading that some one was caught due to betting which was illegal here. This is how I learnt and then on vacation I was abroad where casinos was legal went there and at the age of around 20 played the first bet on the slot machine and as obvious lost it. Was around 5$ in a loss as I had that much only to spend at that time.
It was much time ago, I was used to go to bingo games, the card was cheap and the prizes were nice (not money, objects). Me and my family earned some good prizes, but there are much time since I went to this bingo game for the last time. Now I know Dice and other online gambling games, so I can play at home and for real money, not objects. But that was fun anyway.
Fun and profit is not the same thing. Because both of these has a different purpose and desire, if pleasure is leaning more on self gratification then profits more centered in enriching themselves and also self gratification. Need to instill that gambling has an awful lot of things that can give you great harm, if indeed the time game we did the USA team or more on gluttony. need to be in the know also that if we want to make a profit then it certainly should be able to control myself. Because only with controlling ourselves can make a proper plan.

That's a funny question, and yes, now that I think of that, I did start betting when I was a child as well. I guess that most of us do that, and that probably explains why gambling is so popular. It's kind of part of us, as human beings, to try our luck from time to time.
For me, if my memory is not failing me, I used to play marbles with my friends, and whoever won the game, could choose a marble from his opponent.
Indeed everything is sometimes derived from what we did on the bet of some people. because when we get victory from betting with other people it is definitely our mind will think that we deserve to get a bigger profit, then from there appeared a new issue, namely, at the time of gambling is the main thing that is done is with possession as well as vain. so the majority obtained was a loss.

my first bet on bitsler and I have only 80$ left of all of my saving and 80$ give me 400$. I was lucky that day.

I remember that my first bet is when my Mom and my sister playing cards in our house, our bet is just small amount but that time we can't afford it because we don't have work. My Mom always wins. Maybe because she is the one whi thought us that game. 
haha ridiculous first I bet first still do not understand. and taunya I lost the balance due to max squeeze. very funny when considering it. because I used to gamble not to spend capital. can be from an available faucet
The first bet in the professional betting sense is online poker where I deal with some strong gamblers. If it is associated with childhood, football betting is obviously very popular in my country, when that is very booming about Lega calcio and world cup.

I am not sure but I think my first gambling experience(with money) was when I was 15 years old. I placed my first bet at my local sport bookie and I thought this is so easy and I will win. I was so surprised when I lost bet lol.

I think most of us really started very young that's why is already inside of us when we grow up to gamble. I remember also playing card games with my friends but I can't remember how old I am that time. Also board games like millionaires and monopoly has a big influence to me as well. We will bet who will be the eventual winner at the end.
Maybe it's in our DNA of some sort that made us think the way we do now. There's always a trait in us, humans, that wants to always benefit from things we do leading to different kinds of agreements with other people that would result to gambling. Maybe having an ordinary bet would already make you somewhat an aspiring gambler especially if you win.
As humans maybe its really on our nature to gamble. And its also influential if we started at a young age to dip our hands on gambling. And later in life we can't really get away from it because we started so young that it has marked on us already.
The first ever bet I made was for pokemon cards when I was 15 years old (yeah I'm old!). Well it was fun, though I didn't win that bet.
