I think that don’t considered as a bet because it is a fun game. There is big difference between a fun game and a bet. In bet, you put your money or any valuable thing in the mid just to get the other’s one if you are good with the results.

The person on both ends are just making their money risky with special and contagious intensions to get others’ part too. While such funfairs are just a mode of enjoyment and earning money.

Even though that's just a fun game but he risked money to get the item. And I am sure there was a chance for him to get nothing from his action. Imo, such fun game is a gambling too.

Agree , Gambling can make you crazy with your acts depends on how you manage to do it. But when you successfully won a gamble with your crazy act that will make you feel more even aggressive on playing gambling just like what happen to me before on a betting game; I bet on games and won it all until I make a crazy move and play all in and lose it all in just one play.

That will never be happening again to me.

You have an interesting story about first betting. But if I have to talk about my first betting then the first thing that I would state about it is that it was not much joyful and excited experience at all. I had some colleagues who were already indulged in this and they once took me to a nearby casino where I had bet only ten pounds for the sake of dice game and i didn’t won at that time due to lack of interest and experiences.

During the early days when online betting is not that popular I usually enjoy gambling because I don't play it all the time.
Now, that gambling online is very easy it could easily lead to addiction especially those newbie who think they can make a fortune in gambling.
I play with my friends and relatives before and it was not stressful because I don't loss much, now there is a house edge so we cannot win easily.

Your lucky that you have your multiple lose when you are just using the faucet.

Most people always mix this up anyway, but the truth is that most of us moved to real life betting after getting screwed with dice games. I guess this is truly applicable to most of the crypto based gamblers as most people were got into dicing only after getting introduced to cryptos. I am also aware of the fact that gambling usually comes in one’s life through these card games because they are easily available and play, also luck has a very key role in it so people start putting bets on it in order to examine their luck. But I started gambling from marbles because marbles are also easily available like cards and people seeing this doesn’t resist this game because they don’t see anything bad in it.

I remember my first ever bet and it was on the Melbourne Cup in 1993 which is a horse race which almost every person in Australia bets on lol. I was only 8 years old at the time and I put a $0.50 bet on a win and place. I was lucky to have won some money as my horse finished 3rd, of course I had a family member put the bet on for me. I had a bet on the Melbourne ever since then, with just a couple of dollars each year except for last year where I didn;t bet on the cup for the first time since 1993. So that was my first ever bet.

Well, my first gambling experience was in real casino, it was slots machine and the bet was about 10 cents. Since I was 14 years old my mum were covering me so I can just try it.

Step 1: Teach the potential gambler
Step 2: Let him play against you with some edge (house edge)
Step 3: Win (or lose but less likely)

For me, it is worthless. You must be putting your money in a source where there are quite satisfied chances to earn back a handsome amount. I don’t say you just forget about loss and risk factor but winning must have a dominant role over loss.

While betting and gambling are totally useless in this regard. You can never have even 1% of winning chances in both of them. So leave them before they kill you financially.

I feel you though, because I only ended up having the same experience and sport betting is even way better compared to gambling as that at least will still do with some little knowledge on sports but the thing is that it is just damn crazy because most times, you will be losing anyway.

Friends must be a wrong reasons with the case of introducing gambling to our life. I do see many people have entered into the dangers of gambling only due to their friends. But, we cannot ignore the importance of friends in our life still sometimes some negative things also do happen like this.

It was long ago, like in 2001 or something, I was sightseeing in Vegas and I and my girlfriend we decided to play the machine. We must have had luck, beacuse we happened to be in Ceasars Palace, and one bet was 1 dollar there, while in all other casinos it would have been 25 cents. So we put our dollar into a slot and played the game. We didn't really recognize the outcome as a winning one, but it was. We barely noticed that "50" appeared in the small screen and we were allowed to play some more. We must have played like 3 or 4 more games (all losing ones) before we realized that we actually won 50 dollars. We cashed out immediately the remaining fortyish dollars

So my first gamble was a very lucky one. And if I happened to have played in some other casino, allowing 25 cent bets only, I would have won 12.5 dollars only, so I was doubly lucky, so to speak
