I was also thinking about something like you did. In my opinion, it will be near 150k max but it will not exceed 200k. But one thing most people are certain about is it will break its ATH for sure like it did every time.

But the major concern is how long this bear market will remain. Whales already wiped out some major investors like tesla, celsius, 3A, etc. I am expecting the last bearish move from BTC at the end of this year.

I think there is a good chance that we won't see a cycle like before anymore meaning we could see a big rise to maybe $80k then have the correction to something like $50k then back to $100k and so on. Instead of seeing those big rises that take a very long time and end up with a big bubble that bursts then causes a big and long bear market!

I think the next ATH will be around 170k, but that's assuming 17.5k was the bottom. In the last cycle bitcoin rose about 2 times after the March 2020 bottom at 3.5k. So the multiple of growth compared to previous cycles is decreasing. This time I randomly took a value of 10, and imagined that from a bottom of 17.5k, bitcoin could rise to 170k.

The next ATL should be 8-10x of 17k
The ATH is higher than 150k I'd go 300k to be on the low side  Grin

For now , people are amazed that BTC managed to flash climb to 24k for a short while and now while I write this post ,

No one that has been in this space or in markets in general is surprised that any asset can have such price rises in bear markets. Heck, assets can double in price in bear markets especially in short squeezes.

My bet is that we will not see a next big bull run for a very long time. In my opinion whole market will act like in 1965-1980 (15 years of going sideways with 4 market cycles up and down, while inflation was jumping  to >10% and dumping in 3 cycles) - staglation scenario. So in this scenario, if BTC will fallow stocks, we will very soon see a strong recovery even back to 60k and dump back to 20-30k. Push up to 70k and dump to 35k. Something like that for next few years.

Other scenario is that BTC will not fallow stocks during next decade of inflation (like in 1980) but will do, what gold did in that period. It pumped from 35$ per ounce to 860$ in 10 years. If that's what we are about to see, it will be possible for BTC to start 10 year long supercycle with ATH a little below 500k$ - which will be like 200k$ of current purchasing power (taking inflation into account)

$300k a bitcoin puts us near where gold's market cap has been so the prediction of that for this cycle was already very high.

I'd put the next price probably around $120k if market conditions are similar to the last one (there's a chance they're not because furlough wasn't offered to people above certain incomes which might've done more to raise the price as well as companies not being given funds to remain functional if they could on their own - I don't think many focussed on asset/market growth).

I personally would like to see $180,000 at least that's the bear minimum for the next all time high. For sure PlanB S2F modeling was invalidated, but the graph somewhat pointing to this number as one time and that's what stick to my mine.

I'm not saying that we should believed S2F modeling again, it has proven to be a failure already. But those numbers that it predicted in 2021 should be hit in the next bull run.

What do you think will be the maximum price for the next cycle and why?

I guess seeing the price of currently, it’s not good to think or predict anything beyond 100k usd.
Currently BTC is struggling at 25k usd price range, if it’s surpasses 50k usd mark by the end of this year, then we can see something positive in the next year.
For the next cycle, for me if BTC passes his ATH then that will be sufficient.
Nevertheless, we should be positive always. Let’s hope BTC to touch 100k usd mark this year and fill it’s investors with tons of profits.

I think the $69k was the peak of this cycle, which was only 3.5X the previous ATH. I believe that going forward we are not going to have higher returns, so I would expect that in the next cycle, the price will clearly exceed $100k but not break $200k.

I would expect a high of around $185k or so, with resistance at $200k which will be difficult to break.

This is very hypothetical and if high inflation were to continue over time and go higher, which I don't think it will, as central banks are starting to try to curb it, we could break $200k.

What do you think will be the maximum price for the next cycle and why?

My prediction would be pretty much identical to yours. I mean we’ll have increasing adoption so there could be more buyers but then again for every buyer there’s a seller. Something like $180,000 per BTC seems realistic. I would be very happy with that to be honest..

MOST REALISTIC? Six figures, $100,000 has a very high probability for the next cycle, although I'm very sure that it's going to be more than just "a mere" $100,000 when the market prices in how important Bitcoin is going to be in the "Geo-Political Game Theory" of things.

<...> but I think that $100k is the level that many have marked as their exit point and that it will be difficult to maintain it once it is reached.

Selling orders over USD 100,000 is normal and I expect them too. The same thing happened in this cycle when the price approached USD 20,000, for three times with a big resistance, until it clearly went over.

I think the same thing will happen. Big resistance around 100,000 USD, it will probably take several times of approaching to beat that price, but once it is clearly surpassed, I don't think it will be difficult to stay at levels above 100,000 USD.

If the increase continues to decrease, then it would not be realistic to expect more than x2 compared to the last ATH, which brings us to a price of around $140k. We cannot know what will be the economic situation in the world in 2 years when the next halving will already happen, but I think that $100k is the level that many have marked as their exit point and that it will be difficult to maintain it once it is reached.

However it turns out, it will be difficult to reach a new ATH if we take into account inflation and the seemingly inevitable recession. Less and less money in the pockets of ordinary people reduces their purchasing power, and then all eyes are on whether a new big investor will appear and cause a new big FOMO.

Like before, I am still confident about getting into $1M level in 2025 as a new ATH.
You are ambitious but I would love that if that happens.
Let's go for $500k 🤣
Reading chart, analyzing market all are BS. It all down to the supply and demand, market always move to it's own direction. I was never good at making a good trade (don't trade at all only when I need cash I sell). When I sell after few days or weeks BTC jumps to 2x LOL

Any prediction to reach anymore bottom and how much it could be?

Definitely, bitcoin will exceed above $200000 one day, but it could be long, bitcoin may even reach all-time-time of $200000 or over by 2024 or 2025 but it is possible that the price may have want to reach that and another bear market may start. But what would be the most that matters is all-time-time.

What do you think will be the maximum price for the next cycle and why?
Let me guess the price by assuming the volatility is decreasing in relation to all time high if the present all-time-time was 68900, let me multiply it by only just 2.5 that will give $172,250. This is just a guess.

When bitcoiners were anticipating about 10x growth in 2017 from 2013's ATH (~$1200), we got almost 20x.
Similarly, when we were expecting another 10x in 2021 from previous ATH, we got only ~3x, thanks to pandemic.
I mean always expect the unexpected. When considering the role of institution and retail investors, I foresee at least another 10x in 2025 but the base price seems yet to be set.

Yeah, the ATH of current cycle may happen this year as well. This may not sound realistic but when considering the role of bears might have ended already (like Tesla already sold 80% of their bitcoin holding), we may get back to recovery phase now onward which may lead to a new ATH.

Like before, I am still confident about getting into $1M level in 2025 as a new ATH.

Hard to say when the next bull cycle will even begin as this point. For now , people are amazed that BTC managed to flash climb to 24k for a short while and now while I write this post , BTC is back under 24k so spotting the next bull cycle is difficult right now but I assume that BTC should hit the next ATH around 170k$ ...could be less , could be more...we have to wait to find out. Maybe 2024 ? start of 2025 ? that would make sense for a new ATH.

While I think that we will still have cycles, I think it would look very different from past cycles chart-wise. Pretty much something a lot less unpredictable. I'm not THAT convinced to place bets though.

But just to answer your question, I'm guessing a pico top of $150k.

We are all lunatics Bitcoin believer when we dream Bitcoin price will go above 20K when the price is less than a grand.  Cheesy

Also many of us dream of the day when Bitcoin will be worth $1M.

There was even a guy who said he was going to eat his dick on national TV if he missed the prediction (by the end of 2020), but I think to get there it will take quite a while.

When life gets hard BUY Bitcoin!
You’re prediction of 185K is fair and probably most of the member here will agree base on the recent price behavior of Bitcoin on previous cycle. The previous ATH before 69K is around 20K so bu doing an estimate growth, the multiplier of growth we looking for is more or less x3.5 of the ATH which means the next psychological target for new ATH will be above 100K and 200K mark. Price prediction above that range is already insane and not logical at all but who knows? We are all lunatics Bitcoin believer when we dream Bitcoin price will go above 20K when the price is less than a grand.  Cheesy
