Well I don't find using bitcoin problematic because the time of waiting for transactions to be confirmed isn't a big deal to me nor the fluctuation in bitcoin's price doesn't bother me. But there is one small thing that I still find difficult, which is the popularity of bitcoin. As no one in my place know about bitcoin, although I live in the city centre, and this has driven me crazy for several times  Cry

bitcoin has no arms and legs or a mouth. it is just code.
if you expect some bitcoin dev to get on a plane to come to the city and do some big speach. think again.

however think about this.
YOU can be the big thing your city needs. you can start the ball rolling in your city. if you notice something bitcoin can be useful for, you should be the one that brings it to your city.

at the moment you say your city is empty of bitcoin. this means you have no competition, no one else there to cause you pressure.
so feel free to do your part and get your city motivated.

Complaining won't do any thing right especially when it comes to bitcoin there are many ups and down about it that can be very difficult to understand by some newbie and I think you don't need to complain about it but have the courage in learning and teaching yourself how to do it, I had once a problem over GPU mining over the software I am using so I could mine bitcoin well a lot of fix and tweaks and some help from some knowledgeable guys about bitcoin mining back then help me a lot and now I have stop mining because of financial issues involve and now have encounter bitcoin campaign and gambling and I think it went out well.

The problems i am facing right now whenever i use bitcoin is just minor and not really big issues to me. Like the transaction is irreversible, lack of place to spend it, the price is volatile and etc.

In several months spending with bitcoins I don't have complaints about it. I didn't encounter any loss in my wallets, hacking accounts, some cases like that. Just only scams in investments especially in HYIP but it is not responsible of bitcoin anymore.

It was also hard for me to understand how to start using bitcoin in early days but i learnt that quite fast. The only moment of frustration for me while using bitcoin was when my transaction got stucked unconfirmed for 12 hour+ even when i have sent with the fee recommended by blockchain.info wallet. However it went through and after talking with bitpay i get it credited to my neteller account.

My problem in bitcoin would be the transaction speed, I sent payment for the things I bought and it took more than 10 hours to confirm and in that 10 hours I am very worried and I keep checking the confirmation, the other one is when I send the payment to the wrong address and the coin I sent was gone forever, the address is too long for someone to remember
Thats because your transaction fee is very low. Thats why it takes a lot of time to cornfirm your transaction. You should put your transaction fee into normal fee and above for more faster confirmation. And in your problem about manual enter of address. You should double check the address before sending the funds. Copy and paste the address for less hassle.

Hmm, I see the way you provide to overcome the confirmasi transaction to sometimes crash or have to wait quite a long time it's enough right or good. However it does not fully work in every transaction we did, because the things that affect the rate of speed confirmasi not only the standard fee but also the rate of speed the confirmation of the miners who did his job. Because the shipment or transaction we do in the bitcoin because there is work pertambang and they are the most important things in the confirmation and security bitcoin we

Just as stated in my this post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17238201

On top of those 10 points, the regulation is also a problem. As many countries had banned bitcoin, adoption there would be illegal and thus limiting the growth of bitcoin's price...

The technical things behind bitcoin is just a pain to me, I had made a transaction with 0 fee and later wanted to double spend it with a proper fee but failed... Finally I had to wait few days before the tx was deleted from mempool before I make a new tx Sad

Transaction time is the main problem for me. Sometimes, I have to wait for up to 2 hours to convert my Bitcoins to fiat in Localbitcoins. And logging in to the Blockchain.info wallet can be quite frustrating sometimes. There are instances when the email code never arrives.

Blockchain wallet seems to be a pain sometimes... I can't send funds from my phone, I always get an error and I hate it when I need to go to Chrome and try to send it from there... It's harder to do it, you can't even scan the QR code..

Like some people said, I have same problem, transaction delayed, I used default fees for every transaction I made, and usually it's took 5 - maximum 15 minutes to arrive my destination address, but now it's take over 20 minutes, although it's not to a day. Well I think it will be a pretty serious issue in the future.

problems
Developers have taken off their bug fix caps and put on their highschool economics hats, thinking that will solve bitcoin

developers holding bacl scalability to push their business plan of profitable transactions via business services rather than coding a barrierless /borderless open monetary system

developers have a follow the leader mindset. once a road is pointed out they all follow. they have lost their open mind to take it in multiple directions

yes its developers at fault. because bitcoin has no arms, legs, mind or mouth. you cannot blame bitcoin just like you cannot blame a baby. you have to blame the parents
Forget about bugs in this time all about money. Grin
They following the leader's mind, and the primary mistake has targetted for the leader. Are they getting the brainwash? Cool

For me it's satoshi's that takes a long time to acculumate and it has so little value. Then the speed of transactions sometimes get delayed by two days. Also I can't understand mbtc what is that and every time I need to Google to find its value. Then my biggest problem is the sellers of eBay do not accept Bitcoin, so I need to run around searching for a conversion to paypal. Though there are issues, I yet won't leave btc I learn about them here how to solve them.

I would like to know what is your pain and the problems that you face the most with the bitcoin technology?

For myself, when I started was how to send and receive bitcoins. Also, took me a long time to understand the value and the difference between the Satoshi and Bitcoins.

For me the biggest problem is the risk involved with buying and selling bitcoins for fiat.

There is always a fear that the other guy will chargeback and you get scammed.

I also have the same fear that I've sent the coins to the wrong address and that transaction will not be confirmed. Sometimes I check the address 5 or 6 times before I'm sure to send it.
But besides this I don't have some other big problems. Since I've started to use Bitcoin debit card many things have become easier.
