Asking for a tips how can you avoid scammer in this forum?

To avoid scammers you just need to be more keen about the details of the website. When it comes to users or projects you can ask the bitcoin community for information about it. That way it will be much safer for you.

To avoid scams 100% you need to know the past and experience of the account you are in touch with by digging information and opinions about the user.

Always use escrow.
Always assume there are motives.

Always avoid those who look real nice in a suits (example of course) to get you to buy into things with killer payouts. If it looks to good to be true, it just may be.

However, there are some crazy new inventions here. Learn the "standard" and go from there.

I never got scammed on this forum, but once I joined Token airdrop and I put my email address my account was hacked, password didn't work anymore and recovery via email as well. I had no access for 48h until I contacted Admin when he was online to could assist me.
Lesson was learn... never put your details in free distribution/air drop like email address, always have strong password and never use same password to multiple accounts.

False people who try to rob us are very much. We practically meet them at their own pace. We only need to do transactions or exchanges with trusted people. I think that 'new' relationships sometimes only hinder us from getting rich.

Asking for a tips how can you avoid scammer in this forum?

its very simple, do not trust anybody to avoid you to got scam, because not at all people (member) here are trust worthy so be careful on who people youve choose to trust for the your transactions, or maybe hire a trusted escrow to be a middle man on your deals just to be safe to avoid scam, or do not deal with someone who are in a newbie rank.

I don't have much experience of being scammed. In my early days in crypto, sometimes I invested in HYIP's, despite that I knew how it works exactly and big risk of loosing money. Mostly times I lost my investments (only $2-$3) and since then I don't want to feed scammers anymore.
I'm not naive newbie and for me it's easy realize which websites/projects are scams without deep investigations
My three main rules are:
1 - Always use trusted escrow (when you are making some trade)
2 - Trust nobody (consider every single person as possible scammer)
3 - If something sounds too good to be true, it's most probably scam (nobody will give you free money, BTC ...)
Your 2nd advice oppose to 1st. If you consider every single person is possible scammer, how you can use escrowand trust your money top erson, who escrowing funds? I can't agree with your 2nd suggestion, I think you exaggarated a bit. Yes, we have to be really careful when thing is related to money, but considering that every person want to scam you, is a bit too much.

You should apply some common sense..... If it is too good to be true, it probably is. {People DO NOT just give money away

for free, they always want something in return} Most people come here to make some quick profits and the scammers are

feeding off of that. They know greed will cloud the mind, so they will rush you to make quick decisions. { In doing this, you

make mistakes } If you get any offer {the too good to be true ones} ...you should sit back and relax and think it over. Then

ask other people and see what they think. {beware, people use multiple accounts and answer their own questions.}  Wink

Do not matter reputation, do not trust anyone in any forum. I was scammed in another forum by a reputable member. Never trust anyone online, use always escrow. And even with escrow never use highly reversible payments like paypal, I was scammed in localbitcoins in that way too  Cry

You can avoid scams by using exchanges instead of buying from users on a forum. The fees are minimum and overall it is much safer. Then move the funds to local wallet.

Never experienced that but as that it's best to ask the legendary members especially those with high trust rating. It's not necessarily that all of them are trusted but I believe most of them must be.

Asking for a tips how can you avoid scammer in this forum?

Well it's actually easy to avoid scammers inside this forum. You just have to be more keen or to be more mindful about the details of the project and of the account user. Also, you might want to try asking information about the user or project in this forum.
@WannaCry are you the BTC scammer who created that WannaCry "send me your BTC or your HD is encrypted" scam?

I was a gamer the last few months before i learned about Bitcoin. During my gaming times whenever i buy in-game items i always let the other party to go first before i send or give the money that is the reason why until now i haven't scammed yet in my games. That is the reason why i am trying to rank up here and i want to gain reputation in the future so that my transaction will become easier and fast.
