Hi DarkBullet,

May I suggest that you also include cryptocurrency exchanges in your post? Picking the right exchange is not as easy as it may seem. We have developed a finders tool that lets you answer 6 questions (including what deposit methods you prefer and which cryptocurrencies you want to trade) and then matches you with the exchanges relevant to you. It's available here: https://www.cryptowisser.com/

All feedback appreciated!

All the best,
Cryptowisser

Decent selection of information there. A useful addition could be some influential Twitter accounts to follow, I saw a list somewhere, so I'll edit this post when I can find it again.

Good job!!! It was truly necessary to create such a nice thread here for Beginners and help.
Thanks for your contribution.
I would add Bitcoinwiki in order to newbies to know how they can find some useful information about how both the forum and the blockchain technology works! There they can download also some interesting books about Bitcoin which I feel they will find useful enough.

Your merit contribution (I saw you give 1)  is much more appreciated than your words of recognition. Haha at least give 5 if you think and fell this is really useful .

I find this thread particularly very helpful and I appreciate the efforts. However, can you add a list of more terms in cryptocurrency. For example, shill, I just found out today that it meant "to advertise or market or publicize a coin". FOMO, FUD and more acronyms like that. Thanks.

Collectrix-Bridgin the physical and Virtual worlds
As a newbie,I was a very fast learner but what I found so hard to do was open a myetherwallet.com account and navigate successfully through it,it was the inky thing I ever asked u r help from veterans for..
So I want to suggest the newbies would be better served with apps like ImToken and Eidoo, not only are they easier to navigate, they are much more secure because they wouldnt have to input their private key in any website.

This is a great concept! I would definitely add CoinMarketcap. It lists the current price in USD for all the coins out there. Each coin also has its own page where you can find links to the coin's website, social media channels, where you can trade it and much more. One of my favorite tools on CMC is the currency converter tool. This can be helpful to know exactly how much of coin X do I need to sell in order to get a certain amount of Coin Y. You can also look up historical prices which can be fascinating and useful. Personally, I can't imagine my crypto-life without CMC.

Might I suggest that the first thing you should do is to learn about Bitcoin and the blockchain.

I successfully added an information about the blockchain. Thank you for your recommendation mate!  Smiley I will dig for more information about the blockchain and update this thread ASAP.

First of all, excellent compilation! I would suggest you also include a Bitcoin transaction fee estimator like https://coinb.in/#fees. Fees get high in part because users have no idea how much they have to pay.

Also, is including the name of bounty managers really necessary? It's completely arbitrary, and you run the risk of newbies sending them PMs asking about running bounties. You already listed bounty references so shouldn't that be enough?

Thanks mate! I successfully added your Bitcoin transaction fee estimator. I strongly believe that putting those trusted bounty manager names would be helpful for a newbie, specially for those people who are into bounties as their home base job  Wink
