i live off the grid, solar, wood heat, etc. with my tap water straight out of the creek coming down the mountain behind us.  we had a mandatory boil water advisory (gov't).  i've never boiled it and it's absolute gold nectar, so good!  now we're being forced to treat it and there's a huge difference in taste. progress SUCKS sometimes

But in all honesty, from what I've come to understand, it's a by-product of industry.  The folks who advocate fluoridated water must be paid off or something, because the type of beneficial fluoride (I believe it's called Calcium Fluoride) that is naturally found in water is not the same type of fluoride they're dumping into the water supplies (I believe this one is called Sodium Fluoride.  Confused me at first, because I thought this was the same thing as table salt (or is it?))  So, instead of disposing the waste properly, they dump it into the water supply and call it healthy for your teeth.  In this case, it's an issue with profits.

On the other hand, there's also suspicion that it's being used as a social experiment.  Purportedly, the sodium fluoride causes people (among a slew of negative health effects) to be much more tame and docile.  If there's any method someone would employ to control not just one society, but any society they saw fit, they would insist that putting sodium fluoride into the water supply was great for your teeth (even though there's been studies that show non-fluoridated water has no positive effect on teeth.)  I could be wrong, but this started...1920's?  1950's?  One of the two.  And I've noticed there's been few uprisings in America despite a lot of horse shit lately.  Whenever I hear someone say "Wake up, America," I find it funny that they chose those words specifically.  Also, apparently Hitler used the same method to calm prisoners in prison camps, to prevent uprisings.

Whichever one you wanna roll with, I suppose.  I'm inclined to believe the reasons are more likely to be complex, as there is not just one person with one mind running America, but rather many, and many minds have many interests.  So both may be true, depending on who you ask.  I just don't buy into the "it's great for your teeth" game.

You say it like I can pick up my house and jog to a non-flouridated community   Tho to be frank, I've been thinking about leaving America all together, so I'll chalk this up as another reason why I should go.

Honestly, move somewhere that doesn't flouridize if you're that worried about it.

Apparently it's not just the water, but anything made with the tainted water, that also gets the fluoride. So put the waste in any city's area (in my case, almost the whole state) and you have a lot of fluoride going everywhere.  Even if you purified your water, anything home grown is going to be an issue.  What to do, what to do.  Everything's poisoned, aside from whatever's imported.

Keep making jokes.  You like people being poisoned i guess.  Do you have any idea how many times and different ways the government has intentionally sickened and poisoned people.  Every one has heard about how the US government intentionally gave blacks syphilis and refused to treat them with anti-biotics.  They did that to whites too ya know, and all kinds of other things numerous times.  They protect dangerous products, like aspartame, GMO corn which grows its own insecticide.  Teh list goes on, but i'm tired.

Its a waste product of aluminum smelting and glassworks.  By selling it (dumping it) in the water supply they get to turn a waste product that is costly to dispose of into a revenue source.  Its all about the Benjamins baby!

Filtration, distillation, even reverse osmosis. You will never get the DHMO out of your water, no matter how you purify it.

I checked my city recently to see if I've been flouridized...

I have been   So hopefully this is a reversible thing.
