Well, I spent 6-8 hours switching my ETH miners to ZEC.   Tried 3 miners before I got one working.

I thru 10 RX470's at NiceHash for 24 hours, getting about 150S/s, in between server crashes and the high payout threshold I got about 0.012 ZEC.  But I had to use three ZEC addresses, none of which meet the threshold so it will be 12.7 hours until I can cash out my fortune.

Which at current market price is about 14 Fookin dollars. Roll Eyes

Bitcoin may be the TCP/IP of money.
finally got my rigs running on suprnova

my desktop has 8320 @ 6 cores + a 7950 gives me 21.xx-23.xx Sols/s
another rig with 4x7970 gives me 37.xxSols/s

using 7 cores on my desktop cpu will gain another 3.xx Sols/s but the CPU fan will get louder

Still have another 2x7950 need to put the rig up and generate some heat for the winter Cheesy

Hey guys anyone having trouble with mining or payouts can try buying hashrate at genesis mining. I got 0.00011433 ZEC payout for 0.85 h/s. Its not bad. At current BTC & ZEC rate, that payout will ROI you in 90 days.

hashrate is available now from 0.6 h/s for $29. you can also use my promo code to get 3% off. Promo code is in my sig. thanks

Also if any of you are using nicehash to mine, please use my referral. thanks Smiley

I myself couldn't get nicehash miner working Sad , currently mining with CPU on suprnova.

because i can't put all my GPUs on one pool with the CPUs . i was force to mine on Nice hash till they fix that crash in this miner https://github.com/Genoil/ZECMiner/tree/master/releases for AMD cards on windows once it's fixed that miner can mine on any pool with windows or you can run a Linux box and use this one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/stratum-based-open-source-zec-zcash-gpu-miner-zogminer-1661160  i think it works on any pool .

my sol is at 100 or a little less  with 3 470  two r7 370 and one 280 and using two 8 core cpus at 6 cores . i have two 4 core CPU i need to ad better cooling to or  id be using them at 2 or 3 cores , cheap cooling on them .

@ Searing i should have listen to you to start with at least at  nicehash I can put all my CPUs and GPUs on one pool with one miner and not worry to much about bad pay outs or is the site adding it up right , i believe  zcash.flypool.org would but no working miners like nicehash has so it's nice hash for at least the next three or four days, let them sell it for me and credit my btc address , I'm not even gonna use nicehashes pool that pays out with ZEC , if i want a peace of the PIE .

WTH is wrong hahah  Huh

I am running nicehash with
1 x 7950
4 x 280x

Im only getting 30 sol is there anything I can do to tweak or trouble shoot it

my code is as follows

nheqminer_zcash -l usa -u t2UNzUUx8mWBCRYPRezvA363EYXyEpHokyi -t 0 -od 0 1 2 3 4

You should get at least 50sols/s

any ideas?

Turn  a few cores on, i did a -h to see what helps or use overclocking software but that doesn't seem to do to much but does help some, ID say turn on some cores if your CPU can handle it and has good cooling , MY AMD 8 core  is set to use 6 cores with a R7 370 im doing close to 20 sol with  6 cores on, i was doing 9 to 10 sols with the GPU by it self. .

even the APU's cpu coers can jack it up a little, i found out but i have a really bad cooler on it so using two cores makes it over heat to much but did give that GPU a nice boost, i don't mean the APU video part .

if I read and understand how it works,I'm doing 19 sols

Just realized the NH miner stopped using one of my cards. It continues mining, but dropped to 55S/s. Relaunching the miner gets the card going again. Weird. Also the NH miner throws so much output in the console it's barely readable.

I think zcash is in need of a proper mining software...maybe Claymore is on something? I'm not a huge fan of mining with dev fees, but I have to admit his miner always works great...

Hi guy, anybody tried zcash.flypool.org (same guys who do ethermine and ethpool)?

I tried to install genoil's 2.2 and 3.2 as per their instructions, but windows 10 refuses to run genoil.exe from a bat file.
my driver is 16.9.1
How you guys do it? is there a minimal amount of RAM?

Haven't tried it on any AMD rigs yet, as all of my AMD rigs are LINUX.
The "nicehash" miner they posted works fine on 3 NVidia rigs I've tried it on though (dual 950 rig, dual 960 + 1 950, and a short period to do some testing on a single 1070 in a rig I was building up tonight).
All Win 7, Nvidia driver version 472.90 IIRC (NOT the most recent one, that one has MAJOR issues with some stuff I've tried it on so I ended up rolling back to a KNOWN working version).

950 and 960s are both pulling very close to 10 sol/s, 1070 was pulling ballpark 30, all with right about the same to a hair lower power consumption vs. Ethereum mining.

ethmine.org went down for about 10 hours - POOL stats showed that, wasn't just you.

Yeah genoil.exe just crashes on me. genoil-te-8.exe works great but it's not actually doing anything is it? After 30mins I still ad 0H/s on flypool, I couln't find any info on what those genoil-te-#.exe version really do. Currently using nicehash miner, 74Sols/s on 4x RX470s, [email protected]! that's 200W less than ETH...

Did you flash rom or using original? It seems NH miner works with original bios but not with modded ones, at least for my 480s. Can't get my modded 470s to work with NH miner, getting no OCL error.

All My 470s are modded with voltage offset, they do 28.5/6 on ETH for about 115W/card. I only do voltage offset with hex editor. NH has been rock solid for hours now.

This whole thing is a disaster

Miners suck, crashing all the time or incompatible with newer OS.
Zcashd getting errors and crashing
Pools can't keep their software working right

The only good thing so far is the crazy price, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone spends $1000 on some zcash that it gets lost on the way to their wallet.

Not only this, but trying to connect to zcash messed up my ethereum mining for several hours, even on rigs that were not connected to zcash.
Either it was just me, or the whole ethermine pool went down.

Immature balance of 0.00083744.  The hashing is holding steady now also and shares is increasing. Is there no way to bookmark the wallet so I do not have to keep entering my wallet address in to check my earnings?

Also can anyone tell me what the I/s stands for in the hash rate?

BTW I have 4 cores of my 8 core FX 8370 processor, 1 RX 480 8GB, 1 R9 380x 4GB, and 1 R9 280x 3GB card.

Is my sol's look proper for my configuration?

genoil.exe does nothing, but at least genoil-te-8.exe was able to activate GPU's, then quit.

mining on two sites atm

one with CPU's

http://zcash.flypool.org/ I can't GPU mine here yet the AMD miner they link for windows crashes with in second and i can't find another windows based software miner that works on  that site and Bash on Ubuntu on Windows is a bitch to set up and i get bored tiring to get the AMD drivers to install and not gonna box all my PC with Ubuntu. I like windows to much .

the other site GPU mining

http://coinsforall.io   mining here only  because there software miner  only works on there site, i tried with zcash.flypool in the conf,  it won't connect .

gonna check out super nova next

don't care much for nicehash .

I had exactly the same experience on zcash.flypool.org. miner crashes within a second.
What a bummer.
will try suprnova once they have t-addresses working (right now crashes on suprnova as well)
what platform is AMD (1?)

in that software for AMD no idea yet i wish it worked I'm  gonna like zcash.flypool a lot probable as mush as i like ethermine.org one of there sister sites.

I got all my ETH gear up and running on ZEC since it went live.

I am mining at http://zcash.nicehash.com/

13 x 480 8GB
6 x 470 4GB

~340s/s

Mining to my polo ZEC adress, i hope that works well.
A windows wallet would be good  Roll Eyes
