but monero has a worse anonimity implementation, also the dev fee will be deleted after the first 4 years, it's just a way to have some funds, instead of the premined coin or fast mined coin that monero had anyway
I was just wondering who the hell was buying this thing during a bitcoin price surge. Maybe I would understand buying some XMR because of the GUI wallet hype which it seems is going to be rather shortlived.. but what the hell... ZCash.. really? This thing has the worst coin supply distribution of all times and has an all time high that will forever be seen as a joke. If you cannot reach your ATH ever again, it has a big impact on the market psychology.
I have been thinking about mining Monero. I have a couple of ether GPU rigs Im thinking about changing to mining Monero. What do you think?

I don't think that zcash will make it before christmas midnight to be honest to don't mind mining this coin because in the end it will broke me they always dumping it but im going to hold my coins till the big pump will come to sell them all i want to have big profit before the year ends.

Wrong.Zcash will be a big time pump and dump.Falling from 5 bitcoins to 0.20,aren't good signs of a profitable coin.It's all about time,the mining would be useless and people would give up if the prices fall below 0.01.

Currently zec at 0.055 btc increased 1% from last price. I think so if this is just for a while, better stick to other alt coins like litecoin (their price increased 17%)

For how long will the price go on, you can't just look at the 24hour price chart, look at the chart for December and see that the price has taken a nose dive. For me I still believe the price will keep going down untill it hit 0.01-0.02BTC range

Yes, it is profitable at the moment because the price got pumped, this would be another Ethereum mining contract story those tha got into Ether mining when the price was up did not make any profit from their mining contract on the one year contract on Genesis mining. Zcash price will continue is down movement for some long time.
