@Ray — I don't know if yours works or not, but the sharing site you use both throttles the download speed AND stops after 5 minutes, meaning it died at about 8MB of download and never finished.

I guess I'm destined to use the Windows wallet in VirtualBox for however long this debacle lasts.

If/when this works for me, I'll probably donate something to both of you for actually trying, which is more than I can say for the Zeitcoin team at the moment.

Attempting to download now. The site treats guests like they're on a 14.4 modem and purposely makes a 11MB file take about 10minutes to download. Eventually, I'll give you the good/bad news.
