Saving these for his true friends is a kind gesture too. I think that Zepher would respect that, and he'd want you to have some free coins too.
Besides, these coins were meant to be given away, by Zepher's friends, to people who may (or may not) have never known him. So giving a few coins to you is serving the original purpose. Celebrate bitcoin in Zepher's memory, and all will be right.
I'm happy to reserve some coins for you, if you'd like. Just say the word.
