 HOW DOES MAS MANAGE ITS MONETARY POLICY?
Most countries, including the United States and China, adopt an interest rate policy where central banks raise or cut interest rates.

Singapore is the only major economy in the world to use the exchange rate, guiding the Singdollar higher or lower.

MAS says the exchange rate is the best tool for a small, open economy like Singapore. It is a more effective way to manage inflation, as much of the country's consumer goods are imported.

MAS lets the Singdollar rise or fall against an undisclosed basket of currencies of its main trading partners, intervening when needed to keep the exchange rate within its unspecified target band.

To deter speculation and be more effective, MAS does not disclose what is in its basket of currencies or specify its trading band.

It adjusts the pace of appreciation or depreciation of the Singdollar by changing the slope, width and centre of this trading band.





They are expanding into the Blockchain with XSGD ,the management of the Singapore Dollar to make it higher....
could they be planning to use crypto in their basket to control its trading band?
XSGD could be the easiest way for them to buy crypto....

 No, The Policypal management team tout Policypal Singapore as the first graduate of the fintech sandbox of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS),
     They claim to have MAS connections but really have a MAS Sandbox Graduate. Looks like they got the license then scammed.

MAS is a Money Authority , The Monetary Authority of Singapore is Singapore's central bank and financial regulatory authority. It administers the various statutes pertaining to money, banking, insurance, securities and the financial sector in general, as well as currency issuance.

WHAT IS MONETARY POLICY?
The way a country controls the supply of money to consumers and businesses, often targeting an inflation rate or interest rate, to encourage prices of goods and service to remain stable and promote economic growth.
MAS does not regulate the monetary system via interest rates to influence the liquidity in the system. Instead, it chooses to do it via the foreign exchange mechanism.(woa,check next post)

This MAS is covering a lot of scammers and even helps them! For example MAS is working with PolicyPal and Val Yap and gave them a lisence while this scammers raised  21 mln usd and gone away with investors money. And this MAS dont want to do nothing with this !
MAS is not a SEC (which works on investors interest and punish scammers!)
Dont trust MAS! They help scammers!

Zilliqa is one of the best Blockchain techs in the world today...and the ONLY one that has a Monetary Policy maker MAS that has approved a 1-1 regulated Stablecoin.

This is absolutely impossible and only your dreams. Even Neo with cap almost in 1 bln $ has no any possibility to work with Chinese government (I asked this in one conference, and they said that Chinese government will make OWN blockchain and they not need any third parties blockjchain).

Yes, you are right, it is impossible to predict the price of coins because everything depends upon the developments and activities they do in the market. If the team is making a partnership with other companies and it will surely help the coin to increase the price.
