Wait for the miner software developers to finish modding the code to take advantage of the RTX tensor cores.

Currently the code is only using DP4A instructions to perform the matrix multiplication operations of Bytom's Tensority algorithm. Tests done now with the current miners will only show improvements from the CUDA core count and clocking change for the RTX cards.

But once the code is modified to use WMMA on the tensor cores, there will be a second execution pathway to perform matrix multiplications in parallel with the current DP4A pathway running on the CUDA cores. Those results from the modified miners will show what the Turing cards can actually do with Bytom.

Any estimates on when these updates could potentially be bestowed upon us plebs Cheesy lol

The Titan V came out in Dec 2017 and at that time Bytom was not using the "Tensority" algorithm. Bytom only shifted to "Tensority" in Feb 2018 with their v0.4.0 release, and their mainnet with mining only launched in Apr 2018. Probably by that time the opinion among developers was that the Titan V was not popular among miners due to the card's cost, so software aimed specifically for it was probably not viewed as profitable.

I'm surprised this wasn't done as soon as the Titan V came out.

How do you even mine this?

I could find only two pool: Via and a chinese pool starts with uu.

There are only one nvidia linux miner and it's not working for me.

use this form:
BTMiner_NebuTech -url btm.f2pool.com:9221 -user bytom_address.worker --api ip:port

was hoping to use my AMD radeon GPU , cant seem to find it ! Anyone ?

New version BTM miner:
BTMiner_NebuTech v7.0
https://github.com/NebuTech/BTMiner_NebuTech/releases

1080->v6:1240H/s, v7:1540 (linux)
1070->v6:922 H/s, v7:1120 (linux)

it seems that AMD GPU may not that efficient mining BTM

Anyone try this coin out with the new nvidia cards?
Interested in this ^

Also is who's still mining this / with what / whats your profitability looking like?

Was pretty difficult to trade out of BTM as a US citizen

Did you find a way? I still have my BTM.. I couldn't find a way to trade it for btc Sad

What is the point to mine Bytom? Even with GPU... Simply it is not worth it! There are far more profitable options.

So please share with us.

does fucking Bitmain still sells Bytom ASIC miners? Why the damn network hashrate is constantly rising while profit so low even compared to other GPU mineable altcoins.

Just don't mine this f**ing coin...

Change is in your hands
Difficulty is cranking up for the past 3 days.
Went from 118/day to 102/day

What is your rig set up like? You are doing 102/day on how many cards? Do you mind sharing these details? I would like to try this with my test rig, it has 5 x GTX 1070s. How much can they pull in per day? You can PM me if you want to share things privately. I will most likely give this a shot if it's 2x - 3x more profitable than Ethereum as claimed on their website.

Your 5x 1070 if run at 1,250 h/s per gpu will probably net you maybe 20 coins right now.  No where near 2x - 3x ethereum profitability but definitely bit more profitable.  I have a 1070Ti directly on a 16x slot that ran at 1,550 h/s so unsure if such a big difference between a 1070 or Ti or due to 16x slot vs 1x riser.

TBH it's not worth the trouble then. Plus I am running them on a single PCIe Lane with a 4x Splitter. The performance dip will almost make it not worth it.
