It's true that agriculture is a very important sector of a nation but if looked over it can be seen as less mean while it's even more important than some of the mineral resources that some countries focus on agriculture provides food resources for everyone and it makes price of goods and services reduced to some extent. Where almost everyone produces same goods or food it's very difficult for such goods to be very expensive because it will be common to each and every one, perhaps there will be no Ned for importation of food products.
If food products are not imported then the economy will begin to have a better shape because the amount of money that would have been spent of importing goods will be used for other valuables.

One big fact about agriculture is that it could be an economy biggest source of income but some leaders do not see that about it and hence don't invest much on it. If (agriculture) is being taken good care of things will begin to change gradually.

The development of Economics is a process of structural transformation and Agriculture is one important means to jumpstart the process.

exactly, farming is very important because it's a natural source of income and it requires little capital depending on the size you choose to cultivate. It is important because it is directly related to life. If you are into farming activity, you will observe that nothing is wasted from the farm products. Also farming activities require not much knowledge to practice it despite the fact that it requires patience and endurance.

yes, government should provide good roads that is very accessible to farmers for efficiency. Government should also make things easier for farmers by providing them with modern farm inputs like seeds, fertilizer and chemicals like herbicides, insecticide and pesticides. there is no doubt in your statement, because if One can not do without eating,then, he or she can not do without a Farmer. even in school they will teach you that revenue generation is one of the importance of agriculture.

Of course, we as humans need food to survive, and with this of course we need the help of other people. This is where helping each other is important, because not everyone can do everything. there are farmers who take care of our basic kitchen needs, if there are no farmers then we will have difficulties too, it will be difficult with food that no one can take care of, with the existence of farmers in my opinion they have helped many people and I think farming is one of the jobs that have made great contributions, we must be grateful to those who have helped make things easier for us in terms of our basic needs for survival.

But to be able to get basic needs, of course it's not free, we have to have money as a medium of exchange, we can get the necessities we need to survive by buying them. In my opinion, agriculture is very important in all countries, because everyone who lives needs food to survive. It is impossible for anyone to survive without fulfilling their basic food needs.

The earth was given to us by God for us to build our home, and God also said that our food would come from the earth. And for this to happen, we need to cultivate the land to plant plants or trees for our food.

It means that everyone is a farmer; we have to cultivate and plant so that we have something to harvest and eat. Apart from planting, we can also take care of animals that we can also eat. So that means all the sources for us to survive are actually in agriculture or farming.

Farming for me has never been seen as a thing for the poor OP, farming  is obviously a veritable business that people invest a good amount of money in buying farming equipment from tractors, cultivating machines and the rest of it involves a lot of manpower, and all these involves good money. How many poor people can afford to buy those machines, not talk of paying the people that will be working on the farm.  However, I know that a lot of farmers do get some grants from either international organisation or local bodies to help propagate the production of farm products in most countries because agriculture is always given a high priority.

While your points about loans, education, and resource support for farmers are crucial, I'd like to add a few more ideas. Governments must also invest in infrastructure like roads, storage facilities, and market access. This will enable farmers to efficiently sell their produce.  Additionally, combating climate change by supporting climate-smart agriculture will make farming more resilient in the face of environmental challenges.  Finally, public campaigns promoting a positive image of farming are essential to attract a new generation to this vital profession.

One example of such a campaign could utilize social media, television commercials, and educational programs to showcase the journey of food from farms to our plates. It could highlight the hard work and dedication of farmers, the technological advancements in agriculture, and the importance of sustainable practices. By presenting the positive aspects of farming and its vital role in society, this campaign could inspire a new generation to consider a career in agriculture.

Of course, this is just one example, and the most effective campaigns will likely involve a multi-pronged approach.  However, the core message remains the same: we need to value and support our farmers. A strong agricultural sector is essential for a healthy society and a thriving economy.

Of course the government must prioritize the agricultural sector because of course a country can become strong because the food sector is sufficient and the economy is also getting better.

Because improving the agricultural sector is the key to the success of a country's economy. Moreover, as an agricultural country, the agricultural sector is the backbone of the economy and the main supplier of labor. By paying attention to the natural potential and human resources possessed, the agricultural opportunities for the country are very large. It is important for every country to optimize the agricultural sector in order to maintain economic stability and meet people's food needs.

I come from an agricultural country and the government has not done much in the agricultural sector. I hope the government will start prioritizing and taking advantage of opportunities from the agricultural sector so that it can be managed well for a better future.

Land is God's gift. It's a fundamental resource for human to survive. Throughout history, access to arable land has been crucial for civilizations to thrive. Farming is a direct response to this need that enables the cultivation of crops and plants for sustenance. The link between land, farming, and survival is evident in the historical and contemporary contexts of human civilization.

Farming doesn't only produce food. It has correlation to the production of Chemical product, medicine, and even machines. No Civilization could survive without the importance of farming. Governments play a pivotal role in shaping agricultural policies, providing subsidies, infrastructure, and support services to farmers. Agriculture contributes significantly to national economies through employment generation, income generation for farmers, and the provision of raw materials for various industries. We can anticipate the complex interplay between land, farming, government policies, and economic development. The importance of farming to a country cannot be overemphasized because food is a need among shelter, clothing and without it living can be quite unbearable.

Countries that go to war know that if they should disrupt the trade routes of the enemies used to deliver food to citizens, refugees, troops, they would have won already, hence why this topic cannot emphasize enough on the importance of farming to the country and it's economy.

A hungry man is an angry man. A well fed man is one that would be able to do work well, think well and help develop the society at large.

If the leaders of a country can place more focus on agriculture or it can greatly improve the economy of the country by not just providing only food but also creating employment opportunities for people. It will also result in increased export, and increased industrial activity in the country because some agricultural products that serve as raw materials for these industries will become very available for use, and easily accessible.

Maybe they can do this in the more developed countries, but not in our country or in other less developed countries where you can farm on any land you can get, provided you are ready for the work.

Actually, farming also deals with economic development, but what happens normally to farmers is not only the loan and the fertiliser but also the profit. For instance, if the government provides them with an interest-free loan, the fertiliser and the provision of other things that they may need will help them a long way more than you can ever imagine, but even with that, some farmers will still have many issues. For instance, in rural areas, many of those farmers find it hard to bring their goods to the market because of bad roads for transportation, which is also something to consider if we truly are to help the farmers.

That is why most of the time, if it comes to helping or uplifting the agricultural sector, you do not deal with the farmers because they are the backbone of agriculture, and to give a solution to their problems, you most likely take research on their needs, which consists of making inquiries from the people mainly engaged in the act, who are mostly the farmers. They will tell you their needs and wants, which are left for the government to fine-tune a way to solve their issues. For instance, a farmer who lives in rural areas, as I mentioned earlier, will find it hard to convey the goods to the market as a result of transportation or a bad road. Will you tell me that farmer needs fertiliser or an interest-free loan? No, all these are some factors that the government needs to put into consideration if they are truly willing to help the farmers. 

When we talk about agriculture, we are talking about the sustainability of human life. Therefore, never ever intend to underestimate those who work as farmers, because their role is very important and large in maintaining food security. And without their presence, it might be quite difficult to find where to find food.

Currently, many countries are confused about food problems, and this is because food supplies are starting to run low. Production levels are starting to become unbalanced with consumption levels, becoming a major problem as to how the need for food can be met. Meanwhile, fertile land is starting to run out, factories are being built, mines are being opened and other things are being done haphazardly without thinking about what the consequences will be like. In the end, environmental pollution occurs everywhere, making agricultural land no longer productive. Therefore, in an effort to prevent environmental pollution from occurring again, and in order to increase food security, a blue and green economic system is the solution.

Vast swathes of arable land coexist with dependence on food imports, highlighting a gap between potential and reality. Insecurity, corruption, and government neglect – are significant roadblocks.  Imagine farmers living in fear, unable to cultivate their land due to safety concerns.  Fear is a powerful disincentive to investment and productivity.

The limitations of current solutions like loans and fertilizers are a valid point.  These are tools, but without addressing the core issues, their effectiveness is limited.  Imagine a farmer receiving a loan but being unable to use it due to fear of violence. The focus on the oil industry over long-term sustainable solutions like agriculture is shortsighted.  Imagine a nation prioritizing a finite resource over a sector with the potential to ensure food security and economic prosperity for generations to come.

People will die of starvation, mostly people that entirely depend on farms to survive. Agriculture have been underestimated but it doesn't mean it's never going to explore in a country, farms are places for planting of agricultural segments. Farming is necessary and important for country, mostly these developed countries knows what it means to be gathering the importance of agriculture activities, it saved life's and also made provisions for food which is the first basis of agriculture to a country.

A few weeks ago I saw information that the EU is trying to pass laws limiting people's ability to grow veggies in their own gardens so there's a lobby trying to push this for years. I bet they want to stop people from being independent in case there's another lockdown. I'm a conspiracy theorist, but if you think about it, a person whose money and food you control is completely dependent on you. You will shut down stores., put people on lockdown and start handing out food and water. After a few days everybody will come to you and you can then demand them to sign up for whatever bullshit you want them to sign up. If you want them to take tests, they will. You want them to get stabbed with a needle, they will. Provide a blood sample? You got it.

I am forced to ask what kind of agricultural system does your people practice, commercial or commercial agriculture? The standard of living of your people will not improve if majority still cultivate agricultural products just for personal consumption and little or nothing left for sale. Agriculture is profitable if the people are given incentives to produce in large quantities both for local consumption and for export purposes. We should never underestimate the power of agriculture. A lot of countries are suffering today because they have neglected this particular sector of the economy for other sectors, thereby reducing what they can export to other countries. The neglect for the agricultural sector is the main reason the farmers are working hard and still suffering because nothing has been made easy for them.

The view in economics in agriculture is that we often analyze the costs we incur before the targets or results of the farm because by knowing the costs we incur, we can be more effective and productivity will also be higher. and when borrowing money from investors, we will be very careful, namely according to the needs that will be used on the land that we open or release. from the hoe, plow and also maintenance costs must be calculated as small as possible

  Agriculture is a nature-friendly and most peaceful method of livelihood. It is a very reliable source of livelihood for mankind and also one of the honest sources of incomes. Many people from developing nations rely on agriculture for livelihood. Some people involved in other business or jobs still have agriculture as a side business.
