This is not always the case, just look now there are agricultural countries where the people are still far from prosperous, I say that because I am one of the Indonesian citizens, where Indonesia is an agricultural country where the majority of the population works as farmers.
There are many aspects that must also be supported to be able to make a country's economy develop with agriculture and I see that government intervention and policies will have a big influence on all of that.

When a country can manage its agricultural system well, of course they will be able to guarantee food needs and prices can be stable without experiencing significant increases so that people can still get their needs easily, but for some countries that do not have a good agricultural management system, of course Of course, they have to import food needs to be able to meet people's needs because they don't have a good agricultural system. Of course the price of food needs will really depend on the price they import.

Apart from having a small country size, Singapore also does not have agricultural land so they have to buy supplies from other countries to meet their food needs. Singapore is a country that is developing in the industrial sector and they are much more developed compared to several countries in Asia. In fact, the per capita income in this country can be said to be quite large so that people there gain more prosperity. Singapore is a developed country that has an industrial sector and currently they are much more developed than Malaysia, which was a fraction country.

The management of this country can be said to be quite successful and they have leaders who have achieved good work in developing the country. There are many companies developing there even though these companies are not from within the country. This country is worth visiting as comparative study material for developing countries because even though they do not have natural products, they can develop the country to be more advanced.

Of course agriculture plays a role in the economic prosperity of every country. Good quality agricultural products or agricultural production are capable of strengthening the economy of a country. There are many countries in the world whose agricultural production is very strong their economic affairs are very strong and those countries are much more prosperous than other countries.

When talking about the agricultural industry, this is an industry that is very, very important and must be paid attention to. However, there was a quite unique phenomenon that occurred in the last few days after food prices experienced quite a significant increase. On the one hand, farmers are very grateful for the increase in food prices that has occurred, because they feel they have benefited greatly. Because with high food prices, farmers' profits and income increase and prosperity increases. But on the other hand, those who are not farmers feel very burdened by the increase in food prices that has occurred, because their income is not balanced with their expenses. Where they scream of difficulty, already their purchases are limited and what's more, prices are soaring.

And reflecting on this phenomenon, it is necessary to find a middle way, a step that can be considered a win-win solution. So that neither the community nor the farmers feel disadvantaged. Farmers can prosper and people can buy food at affordable prices.

Singapore is a very small and also very developed country, so the government must protect all sectors in order to continue to gain profits and also food security in the long term. And Singaporeans who prefer to rely on food imports also have special reasons and strategies for themselves so they are trying to make other sectors more advanced so they can continue to do this in order to reap profits from several sectors that other countries rely on through Singapore.

The economic conditions in the agricultural sector are very worrying in several agricultural countries, this scenario occurs because of the lack of support from the government which does not value local products and they rely on imports to make a profit so that the indirect impact has damaged market prices which are not profitable for local farmers, farmers complain of difficulties get powder at normal prices because several individuals have been involved in corruption and nepotism activities in the food sector, farmers are the main victims in losses in the food sector because the harvest is not comparable to the price of powder and the government opens up opportunities to import food when local farmers are harvesting.

I hope that the government works with conscience in all aspects, especially for the agricultural sector which aims to improve the welfare of society, they must provide easy access to buy powder at normal prices, and the government must clean up its image and reputation among the community to arrest individuals who play detrimental roles. society, they must be transparent and accountable in the management of the agricultural sector.

I think every country has the kind of farm crops and produce they can grow or rear as regards livestock.
 Due to varied temperature also, weather, soil composition and texture and other distinctions that makes farming accomplished, ones country has to be safe enough and have a ready market, so that farmers can go to their farmlands to cultivate, harvest, store, sell and make income too.
They can be taxed if they make income from sales of their farm produce and will be more productive if government support their effort with more farmlands, machines that will be maintained on regular by government, grants and aid and other development programs that make them want to keep producing.

In many cases it is not so, and farmers have had to hide from bandits and kidnappers and even the government that wants to take away the land to erect structures in their name.
Also according to the boom and trend of the century lies what becomes important to say the least, to the economy. There was a time agriculture was number one, then gold, then crude oil, then now crypto, and then  virtual reality and AI.
It does infact goes to show that what's of importance to the economy many times, is the trend the world is following.

It could be said that different countries have different government rules for reviving the economy for farmers. Not in the area where I live, farmers are not only exploited by the poor, The rich are flocking to carry out activities on their land, currently 70% of the rich are involved in agriculture.

The government in my area has made various efforts, especially for farmers, in providing fertilizers, seeds, free and cheap land for the community and so on. They provide hectares of land for farmers, The aim is to boost the economy of society in general. In my area, farmers are generally considered the highest source of income and are the source of wealth for many people.

Talking about loans, it has become a top priority for farmers, especially palm oil farmers, they can borrow above $70k for a basic start, if they can produce 1-5 harvests, they will get above $100k, so farmers become one settled life inmy area.

If you are in agricultural country we provably can say that farming is important to boost since for that sector a lot of people can able to serve food without worrying about more higher price of basic needs of people. But unfortunately that there are government institutions doesn't care about farming sector since some of them rely only on import since maybe they can get something in return from it rather than boosting their local agriculture. Rampant corruption lead for more worse situation in farming industry that's why this scenario happening. If this cases where farmers will continue to ignore for sure that they get tired on their situation then stop planting foods that we eat. Then it will be worse especially when crisis came since for sure a lot of people will suffer from heavy hunger.

Yup, if it wasn't for the farmers, we wouldn't have anything to serve in front of our dining table. Here in our country, farmers are underestimated too much, the price of the product sold in cheapest price and then those businessman sold the producstat a high price in the market, so some of our farmers are also poor because their work is hard but their income is very little, not even reaching the minimum wage earner. I hope that those government officials will give more action regarding our agriculture program, many farmers do not deserve what they are earning now, they deserve adequate payment because of the weight of the work they do for the country.

The only reason people choose these online careers first instead of farming is because they feel that farming is not a professional career. It is something you can venture into when you have made enough money anytime anyday. And this time you do not need to toil the soil with your hands. You will do that with your money because you will employ workers who would do them for you and pay them for their services.

It is part of the idea of working smart and not hard. Working online gives you a faster opportunity to do anything you want to do in just few years.

Yep, agriculture plays an extremely important role in the economy of any country, but we are also experiencing the sad fact that it is an unattractive sector, because most of the age groups serve services for the field are not those who prioritize the field. But it must also be said that agriculture provides an essential food source for people, ensures national food security, and agricultural development is the common responsibility of the entire society. I also live in a country with a very large agricultural industry. I know that improving knowledge and skills for farmers to apply science and technology to production helps increase economic efficiency and bring infrastructure. We also need to change the perception of an important industry that requires serious attention. Especially encourage young people to participate in agriculture. Using science and technology in production and using sustainable farming methods, protecting the environment and natural resources.

Farming is quite underestimated, in my opinion.
It does not matter whether one country is a big industrialized one or a small and developing nation, both have something in common and that is their dependence on  agriculture to sustain life within their society.

You suggest there are people who do not want to get involved with farming because they view it as a fruitless activity, but one must do some clarification before talking about farming: there are two main kinds of farming and agriculture: industrial agriculture and survival agriculture, the latter is done mostly for the survival of a household by providing themselves with food. And obviously, nobody would like to be in such situation where they needed to grow their own food.

The key to the development of a country and the advancement of society pass through evolving survival farming to its industrial form and build commerce around it, once alimentary needs of the people are covered, obviously.

The agricultural sector is the most important thing that a country needs to focus on. Well in my honest opinion, the Agricultural sector should be considered as the first priority and then other sectors as it fulfills the country's needs and also many of the country depends on this sectors for growing their economy field. Now the question is that How can agriculture sector can grow up fastly and rapidly. Well in my point of view, the government should provide all the needed things to the farmers and these things should be available at a cheaper rate because the most lower rate things the farmer will buy the more he can farm the fields.

Wheat is export in high volume from Pakistan to other countries. Pakistan generates good revenue from agricultural fields so many are also making revenue for making the economy strong of their country so that is why things should be available at cheap rates for the farmers. Many Thanks!

Agriculture plays a very important role in changing the economic status or economic aspect of a country. The country I live in is an agricultural country where most of the people in my country are involved in agriculture. We also do a fair amount of farming in our spare time. But as we are an agricultural country, the government is not giving much importance to agriculture. If you want to do agricultural work in this country, you have to face many problems. If the government gives importance to agriculture in my country then my country will progress more in agriculture. Also, my country is a riverine country, there is sufficient water system, basically, everything in my country is more than the amount. If good measures are taken for agriculture, then my country will progress very well through agriculture, so the government should pay attention to this agriculture. I repeat if the agricultural system of a country can be improved then that country will gain much prosperity economically.

Finally I am highlighting the position of my country, I am talking about my Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country of riverine and agricultural land, if agricultural work is taken care of in this country, it will definitely advance economically.

Most Countries do not consider the agricultural sector important because the income earned by the country is very small, that is why the agricultural sector is often ignored and the government usually prefers to look at other sectors such as tourism. We can see the selling prices of agricultural products in each country, the range is very lower than what farmers expect. For example, like rice, if you calculate the capital spent, the profits obtained by farmers may be very low. The government seems reluctant to facilitate the selling and purchasing value of agricultural products with regulations that defend farmers.

This is very true, the agricultural sector is the most underrated sector of the economy. Cocoa was a major source of income before independence. Also, many years back, we were the number one producer of palm oil in the world. Now, Indonesia and Malaysia have overtaken Nigerian, and both of them produce about 85% of the world's palm oil. Currently, Nigeria ranks 5th behind Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Colombia. Everyone eyes is fixated on crude while the agricultural sector is looked down on.

I believe the government can entice people into farming by making farming ventures more profitable.  By setting up a good and reasonable price for farming products, the government does not need to give out freebies since securing a good profit is enough for people to consider venturing into it.

Same reason why Bitcoin investment is popular nowadays.  Bitcoin high volatility gives traders opportunity to take profit on every trades they created.  Although the government does not give any freebies or encouragement (in fact many government discourage people into venturing to Bitcoin investment) many investors flocks into Bitcoin investment because of the possible high profit it can give.

Sadly the government relies more on product importation.  In terms of agricultural shortage, the corrupt government officials prefer to import products than develop the agricultural sector because it is much easier for them to pocket money by conspiring with the supplier and getting a commission on every item sold.


It boils down to the profitability of involving oneself to agricultural industry.  The government should establish a good price for agricultural products.  If the government are able to give a good price for agricultural products and enable farmers to gain a good profit, I believe there is no need for the government to implement aid items to the farmers since farmer is able to buy those items for themselves.

So I think the main problem why people are not getting into agricultural ventures because the government failed to establish a good market price for agricultural products.
