For those who participated in the ICO and use Google Aunthenticator, or Authy. Make sure you back the key for such software. Wouldn't want your phone to die and for it to be lost.

Do you have to get others to vote for your miner or can you vote for yourself? How many votes do you need to get for rewards?

Hi all

Can anyone tell me how to install decent from source?

I read the decent wiki how to. But when try $ git clone [email protected]:DECENTfoundation/DECENT-Network.git  got error

"fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights and the repository exists."

Whatever I change the git clone command $ git clone https://github.com/DECENTfoundation/DECENT-Network.git got error too

"fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': No such file or directory"

So what can I do to build decent from source? Thanks .

Obtaining the sources, building, and installing Decent in *nix (macOS or Linux)
After all the prerequisites are installed, execute the following commands in console, in order to clone the repo, build, and install/stage Decent:

# Clone the repo.
$ mkdir -p ~/dev/DECENTfoundation
$ cd ~/dev/DECENTfoundation
$ git clone [email protected]:DECENTfoundation/DECENT-Network.git
$ cd DECENT-Network
$ git submodule update --init --recursive

# Build and install Decent.
$ mkdir -p ~/dev/DECENTfoundation/DECENT-Network-build
$ cd ~/dev/DECENTfoundation/DECENT-Network-build
$ cmake -G "Unix Makefiles" -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug ~/dev/DECENTfoundation/DECENT-Network
$ cmake --build . --target all -- -j -l 3.0
$ cmake --build . --target install

I guess you gotta wait until it is launched in a few hours (11 AM GMT)

If this is DPOS, does that mean non-miners  - i.e. those that can vote for a delegate but not mine directly - get a share of the delegates profits?

I read all the WIKI.DECENT.CH material but I did not find this information either. The miners are also called delegates under DPoS. Delegates are elected by DCT holders.

For example: Under DPoS, can someone with 1,000 DCT be rewarded?

By reading the material, he could only vote (unless he gets voted by some whales, which he probably won't). So the only one who receives a share are the miners (delegates). This person with 1,000 DCT will most likely end up making zero DCT (no incentive at all) by being a node.

Can someone explain it, please?

Does anyone understand how DPoS can be "staked", so that small and medium DCT holders get their part in rewards? Under PoS it is quite simple. But DPoS is quite different, because only delegates may gain DCT...
I think nobody understands this problem, it's all just a team that knows more about this, why do not you ask directly to a team that knows more about it more deeply ...

DPoS is working like LPoS from WAVES or like DPoW from Komodo?... and which is more profitable, seeding or mining from the start?

Decent DPoS is working like BitShares DPoS as far as I'm concerned, but I am no specialist. There are some clear differences, but it is probably the most similar.

guys any news about the signature bounty? thanks

I am also waiting for the news.

This has been started several times that the bounty will be distributed in batches, I believe bounty participants are at the bottom of the food chain and will be attended to after the investors tokens have been distributed

Plus you cant even create an account on the wallet I read without some dct

Source?

He is wrong. It is possible to create without DCT, as long as you do it on Decent Go Service.

DECENT GO service offers free signup by entering email and password.

Source: http://wiki.decent.ch/doku.php?id=decent:howto#create_account

for decent go , u have to give out your email etc, thats centralized bs, on the wallet or cli you have to spend .005 dct for each accout it clearly says so here :

http://wiki.decent.ch/doku.php?id=decent:howto#become_seeder

most people will want to use the wallet to create accounts not the centralized app
Whether a bounty user is required to do so, or not at all, or maybe this is just an ICO holder alone that is required to do so.

Anyone else looking at the pre-launch growing volume or what

If it hits 100k$ before tonight, the coin will come out at 5$ or more

It is trading at aroung 400k satoshis (10$) at Liqui. I am not interested in selling. I am interested in mining and seeding instead. I hope someone can answer my previous question...

When will Google Authenticator be available for reclaiming the Decent?

Is reclaiming after the launch of the mainnet tomorrow still possible?

I just read the mail which I got to start the reclaiming process but I could do it not before Saturday and I do not want to provide a mobile phone number.
But if giving a personal phone number in person might be that good, so not too public to give it, I think it will be done tomorrow and it seems like a lot of time to dev ...
