Paypal is just better than bitcoins right now, there are tons of stuff you can't buy with bitcoins and pretty much everywhere paypal is accepted. I love bitcoins but they are not good for real life yet.
yeah of course you can buy thousands of items across thousands of online stores using paypal. you'll find the convenience of shopping when
using paypal. I think we have to recognize that the paypal step ahead bitcoin for payment. I think bitcoin need more adopters to be like paypal

Yeah at a moment Paypal is more popular and holds maximum number of users in compare to bitcoin and the only reason behind it is that it exists since long time and almost all sites accepts Paypal.

Yes I have a paypal but I don't really use it much. I currently work overseas and as you may or may not know, paypal won't allow any transactions if it's users are in certain countries. So it's basically useless to me right now, where as when using bitcoin I don't have that issue to worry about. Herein one of the prime examples of why bitcoin is great.

Then again there's not many people in this situation but a good example none the less.

This is a good example of the best use of bitcoin. We should look at using paypal or bitcoin depending on our situation and need. Thus, there is no exact answer as to what we should have -either bitcoin or paypal.

Bitcoin has no boundries, wherever you live in the world and wherever you want to send money you can use bitcoin for smooth and early transactions and it wont make you face any kind of problems at all, that is one of the advantages of bitcoin.

Bitcoin Do have a lot of boundaries especially if you live from those country to consider bitcoin as illegal. So in that case paypal would be the better option for you. they both have its pros and cons which we should also look it in terms of our situation.

I have paypal account before but since i start using bitcoin i feel the bitcoin is very convenient to used because of my bitcoin wallet here in my country is more services offered to the user which is good to us. That is why
Having no paypal account is somehow inconvenient for some sites since not all marketplaces are already accepting bitcoins. I am a little concerned about my security on paypal though since they have my full information including my credit cards and savings bank details.

It is right that some sites only accept paypal, but it will not be inconvenient for those people who will have a good knowledge about internet and about online shopping, as they will not stick to only a few sites but they will know about a lot of online sites about a particular product and they will try to buy from that site which will provide more convenience while shopping, and that will be sites with payment method of bitcoin only.

I don`t have paypal account and I never will. Before I didn`t needed paypal, and now with bitcoins I can do many things online. Bitcoin is enough for me and my needs, if in future if bitcoin become stronger, like many people here say it will, maybe people will transfer their money from paypal to bitcoins.

This is big world, maybe there is enough place for paypal and bitcoin. I know many people that don`t use either one from this two, and how many others are like that. When new generations grow up, they will depend from internet and online transaction. For now that is in beginner stage in my country, but it will come one day.

After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

I don't but i wish papyal accepted bitcoin,i hate being forced to link a bank account/credit card to use paypal.
I think we already have that facility? Coinbase as a pioneer and bitcoin wallet has been cooperating with paypal. although I have not tried it directly
I think now you can use paypal to deposit to Coinbase (bitcoin) or vice versa. I think it's a good thing for users bitcoin and paypal?

yeppp , coinbase have started add support for paypal and credit card ,
a good news indeed , but still most people prefer to choose paypal nowadays ,
the stores availability are their main reason ,

caused by the stores available for PayPal payment is become the main factor for the people is choosing PayPal. and the bitcoin just becomes another selection for the people to investing or saving their money, but in fact, bitcoin and PayPal having different usefulness is giving a mutual support for another.
correct , bitcoin and paypal is actually different payment processor system ,
while paypal only like a place to store your fiat money , bitcoin have a great feature more than paypal ,
the only problem bitcoin have is lack of store enthusiasm ,
people still prefer to use paypal than bitcoin.

Absolutely,  yes I do. If you want to buy anything on eBay you kind of have to have PayPal.   And it's useful for other things too.  Bitcoin is still quite young and hasn't evolved into the currency it's been hyped up to be.  Yet.  So I've no prob with PayPal,  and it can come in handy sometimes in buying bitcoin.

Yes, and I still do. I originally do all kinds of microtasks online and that requires a paypal to get the money. Paypal has its ups and downs but what I really liked about it is that almost all services online accepts payment via paypal. Paypal is very useful when buying stuffs on websites compared to bitcoin. You could even exchange your paypal funds into btc and vice versa.

there are a lot of countries where paypal is not available and still they are not feeling any inconvenient and are able to buy any thing online with bitcoin which they want, if you search online then you will find that nowadays almost all of the available things are also available with bitcoin payment.
