Actually I replaced my PayPal account by Bitcoin. It has been now more than a year since I have stopped using PayPal services. Bitcoin is doing great work for my necessary things with low cost and much better way than PayPal. I will never use PayPal anymore and even don't care of logging in, no more need of it.

that's a pretty good fella, because paypal is a digital currency platforms have strict enough rules in every thing we do and we will make it quite difficult to recover the affected account banned because a trivial issue (replace device/IP). So if you want to do transactions that have a good level like paypal, etc with cheaper cost then switch in the bitcoin

Online shopping is so good via Paypal but, If you want to send money to your friends or anybody;(for credit card) is death. Also Bitcoin fees are low. Who wants to use Paypal? (for send procces)
it would be even better than paypal if we used bitcoins to be honest though there are still not enough shops for bitcoins online

I do have a PayPal account even though I have Bitcoin because it is never a bad idea to have access to as many payment mediums as possible, especially the extremely common forms of payment that can be used online relatively easily. While PayPal is becoming a better form an more accepted form of online payment, there are still places that require something like PayPal.
yeah, it is a must to have it at the moment because most of the online shops actually ask for a paypal account and you are not able to use bitcoins
tell me which market that didn't accept bitcoin? there always an alternative market when you found a certain store didn't accept bitcoin , nowadays you could spend your bitcoin almost anywhere in this digital world , there so many marketplace built to support bitcoin , paypal for me aren't needed anymore as i'm go full support on bitcoin.

You can earn Bitcoin in many ways same with paypal you can earn money in money ways that's why paypal is also recommended to those who need extra income Smiley
well i use paypal not because of extra income, some shops just dont accept bitcoins and i just cannot go with it without the  paypal so it is a must for me

i have paypal too and i know paypal long before i know bitcoin and now i think its need to renew for the cc because i am not opened it for a long time ago. i don't know if there is any amount that i still keep right now. maybe later i will check it just to know if i have balance or not in my paypal account.
yeah you're also using paypal and use bitcoin. I've become a verified paypal member since before use bitcoin. to this day I still use paypal to purchase something. I often use it for business PTC. paypal accepted more than bitcoin

Honestly speaking, I can't see why someone that uses BTCitcoin, uses PayPal as well (in general). I used to have PayPal in the past but after relocating to another country, all my funds got locked up and since I went to a country that is under their sanctioned list, I wasn't able to get back all my funds (even after providing proof) and that was the day I kissed PayPal a goodbye and never been any happier to date. BTCitcoin is meant for now and future, Paypal was meant for past.
The beginning was paypal so it is not strange that people who are using the bitcoin also have a paypal account for things online and that is the time where we are living today. Online payments are secured by paypal and not by bitcoins because they cant be tracked so it is not strange that they use paypal for online payments.

After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

Both paypal and bitcoin have no relation, one is for real money and other is for digital money and both works differently. So both are nessary for me. Because almost 50% sites accpt paypal but very less website accept bitcoin as money.

That is the truth, paypal and bitcoin does not have any relation, but during paypal's hay day there was no other options when sending money,so you either use paypal or western union to send transactions, but now we have a million options,be it using fiat or using cryptos.

I think there are allot of people who are using bitcoins also have a paypal account because they all started buying things online with paypal dont you think so. I am not a paypal user if i want to buy something online i just use my master card because that is the savest way of buying things from the internet for sure!

Before using bitcoin I also use paypal, but now I do not use it anymore. I prefer bitcoin because it is very easy to use, if paypal I think is too complicated because we also have to use a credit card to be able to verify in order to payout.

yeah I also use paypal but I do not use paypal as income. I use paypal as an option when I could not use bitcoin for purchase on site. so I'm just using PayPal as an option only. I rarely use paypal

This true. It should not be even a matter of question whether to have either or both because the wise person will have both paypal and bitcoin wallets. Both can easily be created and maintain and there is no significant reason why you dump one in favor of the other because they are both handy and for our convenience.

You have a point. But it's not for being a wise.

There are different kinds of customers globally so putting only one payment method in a certain online merchant will just result for limited options by those customers and it will just result for customers to find another merchants.

That's why having a Paypal account together with bitcoin is not a big deal after all because after all bitcoin today can't even touch the majority of merchants that uses Paypal as one of the payment method.

don't forget that having lots of options is not good either. it is wrong to think adding lots of payment options will bring more customers to you. but instead it has been studies that having more than a handful of choices makes customers confused and they may not choose any at all.
It's just about the people, having a lot of options it's not forever become a bad thing. because the people can compare this option and the another option for choose the best option. maybe that's will made confused but I sure with a slowly they will get a bright for choose the best options..

We all know there are merchants that don't accept bitcoin so yes i do have paypal set for my iphone to which is also set for my daughters itune so she could buy stuff there. It still needs my approval but yes paypal still is useful for me.  If i discover how to create fake profiles for paypal lately, i probably faked them but too late i already submitted legit documents to them Smiley

I don't use PayPal anymore since I began to use Bitcoin. It is now almost a year and some months when I completely said bye bye to PayPal. I was also facing problems as there were too many unnecessary regulations. Bitcoin is just better by all aspects without comparison at all. It is injustice even to think PayPal is even near to whatever Bitcoin offers.

That is right. Paypal can hold your account to freeze or under limitation if they found some irregular transactions you have - in bitcoin wallet, there is non - zero questioning at all.

That is the best thing with bitcoins. But I still have m paypal account though to receive some money from my clients and buying online stuff that not accepting bitcoin yet at the moment.
Even though I know that, I still use paypal simply because most of the online stores that I often go to accept paypal. And I never haven't experienced any problems with my paypal account since I never really fund them any more than $500 and I would always withdraw them whenever I'm done with whatever I'm trying to purchase.

I was also using paypal for my use, but after adopting bitcoin now it is not hard for me to buy anything online with bitcoin, you only need to know about those stores where you can shop with bitcoin and then you will not find any issue in there while shopping with bitcoin.
I still use paypal just for the convenience of having to pay for sites that does not accept bitcoin payments. Well, there are quite a lot of online shops that does not accept bitcoin just yet so it is more convenient to keep my paypal account up and funded as a secondary option to bitcoins. This way I am able to manage my online shopping hassle free when ever I face the non-bitcoiners.
