Will all BTC / Waves invested in the crowdsale remained locked until the crowdsale is complete?
In other words, what is the potential for the devs to simply buy in themselves with the bitcoin/waves they receive as part of the crowdsale to artificially inflate the invested amount and to dilute the tokens given to proper investors.

No, we will begin using crowdsale funds for development purposes. We are currently working on adding NFL.

Here's the concern:
200,000 MVP tokens to be distributed.
Let's assume there is 100 btc deposited. I decide to deposit 100 btc as well. No one else deposits. So at the end of crowdsale I would get 100/200 or 50% of the distributed MVP tokens.
However, on the last day of the crowdsale, you take the 200 btc that is already deposited, and deposit it again. So now it looks like 400 btc is deposited, even though really you only raised 200. So now instead of getting 50% of the MVP tokens I am diluted down to 25%. That is my problem and why crowdsale tokens should be locked up until the end of the crowdsale.
There's still the potential of you self-investing with your own btc/waves but there isn't anything to really prevent or verify that doesn't happen.

afaik there's no way to stop this happening, all the shenanigans can happen off-chain if ICO devs borrow bitcoins knowing the amount they've already collected, so seeing all the ico funds in an address doesn't prove anything. at the end of the day you trust the devs either don't do it, or only do it a 'little' bit, and they're still focused on making the most $$ from a legit project
Yes, very true. It still comes down to trust and reputation. Thankfully ours is rock-solid. However, that being said, if that is not good enough, then I'd advise you or anyone else that feels the same not to participate.
This also follows from my previous post to Wasda that anyone interested in MVP LINEUP should do their own Due Diligence. We actually don't want blind investors as one of our goals of the crowdsale is to create a community of stakeholders to help promote, test, volunteer, etc.

200k tokens represent a 20% share of MVP profits. Tokens will be tradeable on MVP LINEUP after ICO and swappable with a Waves asset on the Waves platform when finished.
We had to move quickly and do a "ninja" crowdsale because of Waves delays, in order to fund development to get the platform ready for the NFL season. NFL development is the biggest priority and we should have something available for testing before the end of the crowdsale.
In terms of a how funds will be used (roadmap) you can expect something like this: (in terms of priority, but not in terms of start-finish)
2-3 month timeline
-NFL Development (Desktop, Android)
-Get additional dev support
-Hire Industry Consultant
-Hire a real world marketing firm with fantasy sports industry experience
-Hire a professional UX designer to make the platform a top tier offering.
-Make enhancements to previous NBA and launch for start of season.
Is there a minimum target amount of funds raised to achieve these goals?

When the crowdsale is finished you will know your final MVP Token balance that you will receive.

MVP Lineup is updating the Waves exchange rate every 2 minutes based on current Bittrex bid price. Due to imperfect liquidity and the labor involved with manually accessing each individual Waves account (libwaves) we are offering a slightly lower exchange rate. However, bonuses are still applied.
Where is mvp server? What's to prevent it from being shut down if the govt decides to crack down on DFS sites?
Servers are in a Safe location. Not going to say where.
We have a couple of things going for us in terms of regulation. One, we aren't even on the radar yet. As we grow regulation and authorities could potentially become an issue. But we are talking millions in revenue at this juncture, so we will cross that bridge when we get there. I'm more focussed on growing MVP LINEUP at this point.
Secondly, we never handle fiat directly, and do not intend to do so.
