Hello bitcointalk!

We have some important news to share regarding our GTX Token Sale that was scheduled to open today. We have had to postpone the sale opening, however the registration period has been extended until the sale date is confirmed.

This decision was made after receiving feedback from our community and partners, raising concerns and uncertainty about the proof-of-use requirements for the eligibility of contributors. Other projects on the Token Foundry platform have changed their sale date for similar reasons in the past, therefore we feel it is our duty too to allow our community to take some extra time to understand the proof-of-use concept in more detail.

GamerToken has joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance!

With this chance to collaborate with some of the biggest names working in the Ethereum space, we will be exposed to a range of new ideas stemming from a membership-base of respective industry leaders. Not only that, we are planning on helping create a working group focused on gaming, bringing Ethereum-based games into the mainstream for blockchain-centric games and traditional games alike. We are pleased to announce that registration for the GTX Token Sale has opened! The registration process will be hosted on the Token Foundry platform, which manages user verification, payment handling and proof of use of the tokens sold. Registration will remain open until the end of the sale, but it’s best to get in early!

With the GTX Token Sale beginning on September 27th, we here at GamerToken HQ are working to ensure that the contribution process is as seamless as possible. There are a few things that you will need to understand to join the Token Sale, so in the lead up to the sale we will be hosting webinars and writing medium blogs, that will highlight different aspects of the project, the Token Foundry platform and the process to contribute.

Our latest Medium blog features a step-by-step guide on how to participate in the sale, along with some helpful tips and resources that will give you a greater understanding of wallet types and security, the Ethereum network and the differences between public and private keys.

This edition gives a concise overview over why and how we are using a sidechain solution to create an ecosystem that is responsive, scalable and perfectly suited to the application we are pursuing. The team is constantly at work iterating and as such the technological approach we take make change over time, but currently this system is giving us the speed we need, coupled with the security of the Ethereum mainnet.

With our GTX Token Sale starting on the 27th of September (more information can be found here on the Token Foundry website, with registration for the sale opening very soon!), we will be lifting the hood on a lot of the technical aspects of the project to give contributors a look into what is powering the GamerToken ecosystem.

We are in Berlin for Block Week!

Kicking it off is the WEST BLOCK & EAST CHAIN event at Soho House tonight. Token Foundry, JRR Crypto and more are co-hosting the event, which is bringing together enthusiasts and professionals in the space, giving them a chance to explore new projects and forge a way forward with the technology. We are hard at work with our registration opening in just 8 days on September 5th! The process will be hosted on the Token Foundry platform which you can access here.

So how can you participate?

Registration for the sale will be hosted on the Token Foundry platform, and you’ll have to prove your knowledge and understanding of the GamerToken ecosystem to be eligible to join the sale through a simple questionnaire.

Head on over to learn more about our GTX token distribution, the structure of the sale and the Token Foundry standards we will be adhering to ensure a secure and smooth process for all of our contributors.

With our Token Sale coming up in the next few weeks, we encourage you to learn about our project through our White Paper and our Medium blog. We will be releasing new articles in the lead up to our Token Sale that will explain the Token Foundry platform’s registration and KYC process in more detail. We will be providing step-by-step tutorials for blockchain and Ethereum beginners, so keep an eye on social media channels and stay tuned by joining the GTX Telegram Community.

We've just released our latest Medium blog that talks about the technical aspect of our project! We address our API, SDK development and our Marketplace-specific features, giving you an insight into some of the inner-workings of the project. Our dev team is working hard to create a safe, secure and accessible system for developers,  publishers and gamers, and by focusing on these facets of the GamerToken ecosystem, we can create a space that gives the flexibility to all users to create for and play and their favourite integrated games.

We've also got some big news coming up very, very soon. We're about to reach a very important milestone and we are super excited to finally be able to share it. Almost there! For the latest news, definitely come and join our Telegram group, where we are always chatting about gaming, GamerToken and blockchain in general. We'd love to see you there!

It's really important for us to engage our community on as many platforms as possible, and given the significant history of the bitcointalk forums, this is one of our favourite places to share our project, the updates, and what's coming next! We think we will be very successful too, and given the week we've just had, it's safe to say there's some great news very close by. 

If you get a chance, come check out our Marketplace Demo and our Fiesta Blockchain Beta, it'll give you a really close up idea of what is happening with our project and a glimpse at what you can expect in the future. Thank you for your support! We are working really hard travelling the world to ensure that the name of GamerToken is well-known and so we can ensure you get to keep doing your favourite thing and be rewarded for it!

In fact, our Blockchain Architect, Matt Condon, was just at the Nifty Blockchain Gaming Conference and Hackathon in Hong Kong, discussing the ERC-721 protocol and how all users will be able to engage with the blockchain, regardless of their knowledge of the blockchain technology!

When we set out to create GamerToken, we wanted to show that we have a working product that can be integrated into existing games. The Fiesta MMO Blockchain Beta is a test that allows you to experience what GamerToken will be able to deliver in the future. You are helping us shape the product and have an impact on the design and final output, so we are using the demo to craft the final design of GamerToken. We encourage you to fill out our feedback form and let us know what you think, as we take all feedback seriously and we will use it as we continue building the GamerToken ecosystem.

With this working product, we can showcase our platform and managed to gain more partnerships and upcoming game integrations , that will show more and more potential partners that there is a viable system here that they can use to find players and create bigger communities.

When we launch our live network, then all progress and earned GTX will be stored on the blockchain, meaning it is yours forever. Until then, we will keep testing to make sure that our live deployment is successful and will be a real benefit to you, the gamer.

Tempo Storm streamers and pro players will be promoting GamerToken Marketplace supported games on their live streams, as well as upcoming exclusive, non-fungible skins created in honor of their professional players.
Tempo Storm is not just an eSports team, it is also one of the largest eSports media companies in the world. However, producing innovative content, hosting gaming events and tournaments, and competing at an international level was still not enough, so reynad has been busy creating The Bazaar, a multiplayer digital deckbuilder set in an intergalactic marketplace where players go head to head in a strategic battle to take down their opponent.
