Gamecoin is a fantastic brand and one of the oldest active cryptocurrencies in existence. GameCoin was originally launched on May 12th, 2013 and is an early example of a Scrypt based Proof of Work (PoW) cryptocurrency. In August, 2018, a team of dedicated cryptocurrency enthusiasts decided to revive the coin and develop a new client.
Over the next few days, we’ll be releasing the Windows and MAC wallets and publishing the Gamecoin roadmap. PoW coins are making a comeback, for one because they're not under the purview of the SEC, and not defined as securities.
We have a great team behind this coin and invite you to join us as we journey together forward in bringing Gamecoin into mass market adoption. Please feel free to comment below in the thread and offer your ideas and suggestions on how we can make Gamecoin a competitive player in the gaming and sports worlds.
