Perception is reality.

Does the cosmos actually exist or is it a figment of our collective perception?  I'm merely asking the question, because I don't know the answer.  Do I need to know the answer?  Does the answer change anything?

Lets go the other way, and ask a similar questions about the "micro-cosmos."  What force keeps the electrons and protons orbiting the nucleus of an atom, and why?

There is so much humanity has learned about our own existence, and the existence of the universe, but it's infinitesimal compared to how much more we can learn.  Learning usually leads to an understanding how little we know, and opens up even more questions.  Just keep learning, and not only you, but all humanity benefits.
