I see them popping out lately a lot, the worse one is Elon Musk, people seem to fall for that. I wonder where is Youtube now to ban all those accounts? Youtube only bans and causes problems for crypto youtubers that are creating proper content, but these scam giveaways tend to go for quite a while before there is a reaction....

Very true, YouTube taking down those decent crypto related channels because of this scamming act that popping from their platform, instead of removing only those scammers it reflected to everyone that they've think the contents are related to crypto.

There are still people who are new to this industry and with greed they've been easily manipulated by this kind of enticing promises, not taking any research before participating, it ends up being victimized.

Yes, new ones into the industry suffer the most loses in the end due to the inexperience and lack of knowledge. To top that off they usually have much more enthusiasm then people who already have some experience and because of that they invest and throw their money in all kinds of scams.

Referral codes are always a replacement scam technique Many are trapped by the temptation to form extra money by sharing links That's why we'd like to take care not only about giving discounts to fake YouTube but also about other websites. If your YouTube channel is linked to a licensed AdSense account you'll use AdSense to monetize your own site to try to do this you would like to feature the location to your site list. AdSense will review your site and allow you to know when it's able to show ads Then you'll set-up ads on your site. during this case the probabilities of being scammed are much lower.

From what I have seen at least in Fake Youtube Giveaways is these scammers don't bjy these Youtube accoumts or biy fake aubscribers but they are more commonly hacking these channels and renaming it on its own giving the illusipn thag they have many followers in their channel. Another thing I notice is the commoy livestreamed video in these giveaways is with Ethereum running an interview of their founder which is another way to fool newbies. Once see once or twice of these scams you will know how to avoid it.

Actually, there have been many similar threads about this kind of scams. As we know, they can use all types of media to launch the action. And no half-hearted sometimes they really are the very totality. They make announcements on certain websites, social media accounts, Youtube Channels, and also information on this forum very convincingly. But suddenly they are scammers.

And let's be real, none of the CEO's like Elon Musk or Bill Gates is going to giveaway any cryptos, there is unicef and places that actually the billionaires donate real cash.
this kind of scam actually has been lasting from several years ago, since 2018 and now it still exists and still many victims are scammed. it is interesting. Are the scammers really smart or the victims that are careless about this old scam type?

Moreover, I ever watch a youtube channel with high subscribers and they do live to stream to make certain investments and get great profits. they are set likely so real and ensure the audience to invest in them. Thye also welcomes the speakers to make the victims believe in that live streaming. And they are just scammers, they as for some amount of BTC to transfer and they are gone.

So, watch out about the scammer's guys. they re smarter right now. But we must be smarter than them.

It's not only on youtube, they are basically on all social media platforms, including dating apps. Another common scam is talking about insider information in the crypto currency world where you should invest into specific altcoins. They have a fake exchange website with fake charts and returns, to show you returns a few days in advance. If you sign up on that exchange they steal your personal information and money you would invest there.

A general advice, if the deal sounds to good to be true, better to stay away.

A variety of methods used by scammers are currently growing. Using social media as a tool to launch a scammer attack is the most effective way. Many are tempted by the free gifts provided. Of course there won't be free money here, all requires effort.

Fake Giaveaway spreads quickly across various groups and even uses YouTube to do live giveaway that has been planned by scammers. Send 1 ETH then you get 1.5 ETH? no one will give more in such an easy way.

They look legit which makes people been trap into their trick and foolishness, and that was stupid also for those people who let this thing happen to them.

I know people are aware of this kind of activities but unfortunately, they become blinded when someone offers you big returns. Scammers are smart enough to think like this, they'll keep spreading and continue their bad constitute coz they know that many people are greedy and that gave them the opportunity to take advantage and drive on it. That was difficult as realizations come late and it is all done.

Well said, there are many ways that scammer can do to scam people, they sometimes create fake websites that are really similar to the legit websites, so if you will not good at comparing legit and fake websites you will end up losing your money.
There are many youtube channel doing that scam giveaway, you shouldn't be trapped with those scam, if you see that the youtube channel have many subscribers, it doesn't mean that he will have legit giveaways because there is a youtube channel that I have read on an article having scam giveaways.
This is normal nowadays, they are spreading everywhere even in some social media, especially Twitter and Facebook.
It is kinda alarming, even Bitcoin still not so bullish or aiming a new all-time-high but these scammers already started, because as far as I know as before, these kinds of scams only popped out when bitcoin got parabolic run or when the bull run started.
For sure, we will expect more of this kind of scams once we already in a new bull run.
Indeed, they commonly use the social media platform because they know that there are many active in social media and they will get many victims if they will going to use it for scamming people.

And this is one of the catches of "Blue Snow" about fake giveaway. I am not surprised at the fact that there is something like it and it often happens, but if we understand it, all will not be deceived by them.

[Scam] Youtube Channel Fake Giveaway
Yes, this is more like common now because we are already aware that youtube has been also a medium for scamming or to decieve other. However, before the common incident happen like this, there are already users being scam. They were very unfortunate to get decieve by this kind of scam before.

We were just being lucky today that we can now avoid scammers for we have learn the lesson from others who get victimized. But still we should be aware that scammers also getting more and more strategy just to scam others.

Well hello guys, its been a while Smiley
I would like to warn every newbie as me but also the not so active members coming back and not aware of the new "meta" of scams around.
There is people around buying twitter accounts, youtube accounts with a lot of subscribers and using fake websites based on financial and crypto events.
They are waiting for an event to be started globally and it doesn't matter is it crypto or simply financial by a big name to start a fake giveaway project.
I am not sure did someone already warn the community around but i feel doing this for dear fella bitcoiners.
Remember there is nothing free in this world in first place.
Do not fall for any giveaways that require deposit in first time, all of them are fake.
And let's be real, none of the CEO's like Elon Musk or Bill Gates is going to giveaway any cryptos, there is unicef and places that actually the billionaires donate real cash.
I don't want to be rude but anyone fall on that kind of pathetic scam he deserve it.
Always look up for information over internet, there is plenty of info about those new scam methods!
Not in last place: If something looks to good to be true it is !!!
Stay safe and happy mining/trading everyone.

First of all, we need to understand the meaning of giveaway. It is something which is given free of cost. If the you tube channels and other social media platforms ask for money and in return promise of a giveaway, you will be scammed. The best way to avoid it is to never send any money to get more money in form of giveaways or schemes.

There are a lot of people taking advantage of having a knowledge into the world of bitcoin and cryptocurrency and some of their targets are those people who do not have enough knowledge about this and especially the newbies as you see that those are the bitcoin giveaway and some of them are using a large name just to encourage other people to make an investment to them which is not a good thing and now if the members got scammed most of them right now are spreading a piece of bad news about this and does not want to make another investment because of this bad experience.

I think this is one of the topics that OP talk about because recently there is a lot of topic about this kind of scam and this is the elon musk bitcoin giveaway.

Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZhpEsNpxAg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW_Q3sQpO_s

Also when you are trying to use this keyword in youtube "Bitcoin give away" there is a lot of content made by different users actually the experience of scam on a different platform that may help other members to be aware of this kind of scam.

Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZhpEsNpxAg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvSshZ1vvEU

I try the link you've give and most of them are a giveaway about the bitcoin and they are using the bitcoin first they are encouraging their viewsers to send the bitcoin amount on the address and they told that the make a giveaway but at the end of the stream they will go with no giveaway.
