Ratimov thanks for the good job you and other merit sources are doing in helping beginners and those with little to reach their merit requirement to rank up, I will like to make a friendly suggestion.
those that have low activities should not be considered and have to wait till there activities meet the rank requirement, this will minimize the level of merit demands as the available merit will go to the users that meet both the merit and activities required to get to the next rank). Please ignore If this have been discussed on the thread before

I just took a look at your profile. None of those guides are posted on Bitcointalk. All you do is post links yo your own site and include a few sentences to get people to click on those links. No content that improves Bitcointalk whatsoever. Not only that, but many posts are the same and you just change the coin/token name. They could even be considered low-effort posts and be deleted if they were posted somewhere in the normal parts of the forum. Let me show you a few examples of what I mean:

Thanks for letting me know about it, and it's true that I submitted the application too soon and perhaps slightly disregarded the rules to be considered a qualifying application ^{[475 merit].} So I won't blame anyone including Ratimov for ignoring my application even though I qualified ^{[478 merit]} a few days later because LoyceV sent me some merit.

I honestly thought Ratimov would help me to reach the required amount but in the end it was klarki who did it for me with 23 merit. Thank you Klarki, now my merit count has reached 501 and only requires me to wait for sufficient activity to rank up to Hero Member.

To be fair, Ratimov does allow newbies with 0 merits to apply, but some quality posts are still required. He needs to be able to find something merit-worthy.

When we are talking about quoting, just make sure that your new post starts after the quote tag is closed. You are supposed to write a reply after the [/quote] and not inside of it. Looks you edited your post and you understood it now. Writing something inside the quote tag, make it part of the same quote.
