At the time of this post:

Number of responders: 139
Assuming poll responders hold the minimum quantity of coins for their category, total holdings represented = 14,216 BTC
Assuming poll responders hold the maximum* quantity of coins for their category, total holdings represented = 34,483 BTC

*Assumed 1000 BTC maximum for 500+ category.

Hahaha...responses are completely full of shit.  What do you suppose the multiplication factor is compared to actual BTC held?  20?  50?

How does one own 0.5 badass Toyota?
You can shred one badass toyota car up to 100 million pieces.

But how many badass Toyotas will there ever be?

I've often been surprised at how few coins some of the most prolific posters have. The head honcho of bittylicious.com said in a radio interview recently he had 20 BTC which blows my mind a bit.

The amount of people whose lives would be changed by a $10,000 coin is probably surprisingly modest.

Own around 1.05 Bitcoin. This is a long shot bet for 1m lottery ticket.

I know the odd of winning is less than 1%.

I'm not so sure about 1M, but the odds of winning with BTC is, in all likelihood, higher than 1%.  Assuming the definition of winning is: worth more than you paid for it.

A few more after this price drop.

So you actually day-traded successfully? That's a rare thing. Most people tend to lose a substantial amount of their savings when they are panicking! Look into the Wall Observer thread! ShroomsKit claims he had 2 BTC just yesterday and traded his way down to 1 BTC now.

Protip: you don't need to daytrade to buy more bitcoin. You can just buy (at night if you prefer). Very easy to do successfully, trust me.

I've got a protip: never trust the guy that says "trust me" Wink

I'm confused right now. Is there anyone I should still trust around here? If so, who?

Trust the blockchain.

Between 0.6 and 5

just TRUST NO ONE.

Then no need to worry about being fair by trusting in one, and not in another.
