Mr. 1KBrihdqn3Ysz2J22FSyyJsYGPUZoQwXR4 (Boelens) will receive 0.53581 BTC as per the 83.33% rule. There will be a bitcoin transaction fee of 0.0003 based on 19 unspent outputs. The rest goes back to the pot for the next round. I don't take anything since the total has not reached 1.0 BTC.

Boelens, let me know if you want it at that address, or if you prefer a different address (which can not be kept secret, btw, as you have to post here a bitcoin signed message.) Why a new address? Maybe it's a cold wallet, its a paper wallet, its another gambling site deposit address, or its a charity, whatever it is, is up to you.

No reply, means I send to that address soon.

I am giving a few minutes (or an hour or so) time to compose the rules for the next round, while anyone and everyone is free to verify that I computed the correct winner.

Your transaction id is used like this:
sha256("txid00000001secret1secret2secret3secret4secret5secret6secret7")

Here are the secrets.

Ok, I got a PM about bonus tickets. Both Bulk and Worm tickets are computed on a per transaction basis. No combining of separate inputs. If you want to maximize your bonuses, buy them all at once in one giant big transaction.

For volume or bulk, here is an example:
Go buy 20 BTC in one transaction and you get 666 bonus tickets. But if you buy 10 BTC and 5 BTC and another 5 BTC, you only get 392 bonus tickets. You do get 3 different transaction id hashes, so if that's what you wanted, that's what you get. I'm guessing that you'd want more tickets though, as more tickets means better chances of getting the lowest hash result.

Early bird worm tickets are the same. Per transaction.

In the first or earliest bracket: If you buy 3 tickets, you get 1 worm. If you buy 4 tickets, you get 1 worm. If you buy 5 tickets, you get 1 worm. If you buy 6 tickets, then you get 2 worms.

I hope that is clear to all.

The best strategy, is to buy early, to buy many. When the jackpot is big at the start, there will be people who go "wow, fancy jackpot!" then buy more, making the pot even bigger. But if you buy late, you don't have the worm bonuses. You can still buy volume though.

Gimme a few minutes while I determine the winner.

Dear Dabs,

Is that amount of BTC shown above as jackpot the 83.33% portion, or the whole 100% portion (with next round 16.67% included)?

Cheers.

That's the whole 100% portion. So I still compute the 83.33% for the winner. It's still big eh?
83.33% of 0.643 is 0.5358119.

When I get the website fixed up, it should display just the 83.33%, but of course you can always check the address balance if you want to see the whole 100% (including the next round 16.67%).

That 0.0005 matter? Fiine =P.

Ok ok. I can't normally allow this, but for now you get your ticket.

Code:
e031558399518ecb2f8448b5b84d5bdff4d941a4505aae1aca92a3dcd04c2b15 000006 1KBrihdqn3Ysz2J22FSyyJsYGPUZoQwXR4 Boelens

Since, I take it, your original intent was to buy it together with the rest of your earlier ones, I will add that as if it were part of the original transaction. Then this new one is just discarded, but added to the pot.

And whoever did this
https://blockchain.info/tx/bfeb9dff67bb7cdf1ed0226cc07f2e362fbdb0e9631df9aedd2ae8aaa7d420f3

is considered a donation to the pot as well.

says you missed by 0.0005. So you got 4 tickets. (Maybe you got confused about the transaction fee, keep that in mind, that goes to the miners.)

What to do what to do? But rules are rules, and blockchain is proof.

Quote
Every fraction of bitcoins less than 0.01 will go to the prize funds but not be counted as a ticket, so if you send 0.0199 I will consider that as still 1 bet. The rest, just goes to the total pot.

In the meantime, that does buy you 4 tickets, plus 1 worm (early bird bonus) ticket, so you do indeed get 5.

Guys, don't mess up your math or transaction fees.

No, don't try that. it won't work.

Oh, alright. So basically I make a blockchain.info wallet and then deposit from Bitstamp into there, and then use the online wallet to pay?
