Dark accepted my collateral and I'm just waiting for his response. He is currently offline so I think I will not get any response until later. I'll let you know if even dark backed out from the loan. Again, I'm not really in a rush so I can wait.

I don't understand what you are saying here but from what I comprehend, you are asking what is the use of the signed message?well I provided the signed message as a proof that it is me who owns the account ever since. It's a proof that the account was not bought or hacked. It is not a guarantee of repayment but atleast a proof that the account is not suspicious or anything.
