I suppose it's safe to assume that if we had any leftover coins sitting in an OzCoin account, those coins have been stolen at this point? Or is there a way to get coins sent to a separate wallet?

I'm about to start hobby mining in Aus with a Bitmain S4 is this pool still open?

Is there any benefit to joining a local mining pool over another?

All cryptos are FIAT digital currency. Do not use.
@HippieTech seriously? again?  Huh

He's the dank of the mining board.

Talk about the wolf guarding the henhouse.

How much is notsoGraet paying you to kiss his fat scammer ass ?

Do you have any proof of this asserted labro-gluteal contact?

Deny.. deny.. deny. That is what scammers and their supporters do so well.

Do you feel the least bit of compassion or remorse for everyone that has been ripped off by this ingrate ?

You call me a scammer, and yet you totally made up a story about me and Graet sharing intimate contact! Pots and kettles.

With you being one of his staunchest supporters, I'm surprised to hear you say that.

Did I miss your blog's expose on any of his misgivings ? lol

Did he sell you some the DGM surplus or some of his Bitfunder loans ? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitfunder-graetloan-paying-005-interest-daily-218324

Clearly you have no proof of a financial or intimate relationship between me and graet, you are simply, for some reason, posting ad-hominem attacks. So let me return the favour:

When will you return all the money you scammed?

Your statement, "traded fiat for BTC", kinda gave it away.

Now lets see the TXid code.

Hours before you posted about your 50 BTC transaction with notsoGreat, lenny_55 had this to say. "Stolen money in Great.Loan asset on BitFunder. Please be careful before trading with him!"

The logical inverse of "guilt by association" is honor by association, where one claims that someone or something must be reputable because of the people or organizations that are related to it or otherwise support it.

This web of fake trust will not be fooling people for much longer.

you know whats a shame? graet missed from foruns e not communicatin

look at this, this is real shame.

I've not been involved with Graet.Loan but I'm familiar with it, any unregulated and unsecured debt is a risky investment. I still have hope for those that helped finance it.
Regarding Ozcoin, it's a shame it didn't last against the bigger pools and falling prices. From memory it had good market share for awhile.
Also with all the successful BTC startups come from Australia igot, coinjar and digitalbtc. I just figured Ozcoin, one of the oldest mining pools would still have had some following.

Haha, double posts suck but I have to say the comment about 'his new Karples costume' gets me laughing again.

Well it's been over a month since the last post and probably longer since any hashing has been done here.
As a small operator from Australia myself, I've always followed with great interest the ups and downs of Ozcoin Pooled Mining and more accurately Graet's ambitions for success in the community.
It's a real shame to see the pool dead but as it is the natural order of things, the old makes way for the new. R.I.P

well, for what its worth; I pointed some Antminer S1's back to it -- doubt it'll bust any blocks, but, never know!

Yeah I noticed that, was a bit worried but I was away from IRC all weekend and couldn't ask about it. Stats are back up now. Usually when stats go down it's a server issue (shares are all cached and counted when it's back up) but it's rare to go that long. Graet's got some not-so-friendly stuff going on in real life these days though so I can understand if that caused the service delay. I'll check later and see what happened.

what comes to my mind is this >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome

to be clear i do not blame DGM here.
That wouldn't apply to me since I haven't mined on Ozcoin in a while.

nor me, but i continue to mine DGM and i'm quite content with the method.
