US server is having some issues communicating with DB
I have moved the US and AU mining subdomains DNS to the EU server until we can resolve US issues.

Is the pool down?

My miner was hashing away, but when I checked the web site it says my hash rate was 0 and that my miner was stopped.
Sam
The US server was down for at least a few hours, but it just came back up while I was checking other ports and other countries' servers.
Seems to be down at the moment.

Using the pool block finding for a four day period lets the chart show some other pools' block finds. Ozco has 22 blocks (@ +12% luck) here vs Deepbit's 162 (+3% luck), so ozco's hashrate is still a bit less than shown.

The smallest pools not relegated to "other known" have three block finds. "Unknown" is mostly the mystery 0-TX miner, with more blocks found than ozco, although there are surprisingly a lot of single-block solo miners still.

Linux since 1997 RedHat 4
Ah the joy of random statistics - makes for one very cool pie chart today Smiley

(I guess there's some delay in the figures so it may be even better later?)

Did some updates to the site frontend overnight (my time) mainly security updates.
If anyone sees any issues please let us know, looks all good from our side tho Smiley

Working on some more graphs and stats for those that need their chart pron Wink

We now have staff in EU, US and AU so our IRC is manned pretty much 24/7. We are at #ozcoin on chat.freenode.net and have a direct link to #ozcoin via webchat on the site - drop in for some help or just to say "Hi" sometime Smiley

I've tried both custom and auto miners and cant get them to work. Failed connection.
which mining node and what mining software are you using?
A few clues would help us troubleshoot Smiley
Mining with Phoenix, tried EU and US nodes, no luck. Always getting "failed to connect" message.
Ok, found the problem! Had "http://" in node address (copied from the site page). After removing it, now its working as intended.

Breif downtime coming up, doing patches to bitcoind.
Nodes should only be down a few minutes.

BIP30 and BIP16 patches applied.

What's BIP30?

Thanks for giving us a try, from the DB it looks like you made an "auto worker", would you mind making a custom worker and see if that works?
That worked. Smiley

I thought I saw somewhere that it was the other way around (custom workers were the ones giving problems) so I made an auto.

I've had Ozcoin set up as a backup server for a few days now and it always shows up as dead in cgminer. Undecided

Unfortunatley auto worker fails randomly for new members - we are trying to pin down the cause.

checked junkmail folder etc?
I just created a new account to check, email was at gmail quicker than i could login. Seems fine here Smiley
I have tried it a few times, its not anywhere. I use online netscape(aol) account. Never had trouble with anyone else sending me email.
Tried to signup to netscape to test, wasnt able to. Does anyoene else on netscape/aol have isues with emails?

What happened to the pool? My miners can't connect and only 22 GH's are connected. I keep getting the error connection failed.

There was a small network outage inside our US host - the US server was offline for ~20minutes.
One of those things that can happen unforunately.
I encourage miners with the ability to set a failover to use our other mining node as 1st backup Smiley
