Sorry if the stratum server restarts caused any of your miners to fail over.  We found a bug in the code that needed immediate attention.  All should be fine now.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sigh some days...
us1 was the 1st ecoinpool server we went to reboot, it has not come back up, possible harddrive problems, I have moved DNS to us.ozco.in for now (for those without failover set)
We will resolve this issue before continuing with reboots on other ecoinpool nodes

The good news
au stratum server has now been updated
Changes implemented to all Ozcoin stratum servers
User settable worker difficulty on the fly - miner restart no longer needed
Better handling of shares around worker difficulty changes to reduce stales

Keep posted for more exciting Ozcoin Stratum news Smiley
Cheers

US and EU stratum servers have been had updates applied

US US1 and EU ecoinpool servers will be rebooted shortly for updatea

au.ozco.in eco/stratum server will be updated late, host needs to replace an upstream router so we will work with them to minimise downtime

as always please have an Ozcoin node as 1st failover in case of issues
cheers

Power to the people!
Is somthing wrong with the payout system my last auto payout haset shown up and its been over a hr sence it should have.

We are in the process of rolling out some new stratum code, but it should not have affected payout.

Which are you mining on? BTC? LTC? NMC directly?
Have you verified your payout address?
Will look into it, after receiving some of those details Smiley

Im set as pps using us.ozco.in looks like im doing btc and nmc and the payout address is correct.  My unpaid pps reset and it went to my Confirmed Credit under bitcoin it looks like but not paying out.

Yes, slight bug in the payout once again.. Please be patient with us while we track this down and get the coin flowing once again.

no problem i noticed under Pending Misc Payouts it keeps saying its paying out every 30mins but looks like its transfering to Confirmed Credit under btc if that helps any.

Bug has been squashed, and payments should have gone out.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Again though, please be prepared, as we are getting ready to start some of the needed maintenance on the servers.

not sure if its a bug or not but looks like namecoin arent auto converting to btc now either.

Advance warning
Sometime in the next 24-48 hours we will need to do some maintainance on our mining nodes, some just need updates some need rebooting.
We will work on 1 node at a time and the main www/db server will remain online
Please ensure your failovers are setup to another Ozcoin node during this time for uninterrupted mining Smiley
Cheers

From earlier posts I gathered that dynamic difficulty is adjusted per worker connection, so I could have a fast miner doing high difficulty shares and a slower miner doing diff 1 shares on the same worker account. However, all my miners are doing diff 1 shares when vardiff is set to -1. The fastest is just 2GH/s, so it might not be enough to trigger a change. I tried manually adjusting vardiff to 4, but my miners are still doing difficulty 1 work after reconnecting. Do I have to disconnect all miners simultaneously before the change takes effect, or could there be some other issue?
That is how it should work, yep.
2Gh/s isnt enough to trigger higher diff
I set 2 on mine Wink

when you say reconnect, do you mean restarting miner or leaving miner running and reconnecting?

EDIT: or you might have just found a bug. looking into it now Smiley

Bug found and squashed!  You should now be able to edit your worker profile, change the vardiff, and restart your rigs with the new settings.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for help finding that bug!
