I think methods are more essential than single or bunches of scam accusations.
After that, please come back here, with your guide, then you will win my contest.
It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

Please take a look if you have free time. Thank you. Thank you for all your applications, but as you can see, I changed rules, and in the contest, since that week, only applicants whom apply with their own posts/ threads will get merit.I changed the rule again: Anyway, I have a good news for you. You are likely a good poster, so I will scan your post history and see which ones I can give you merits. Please wait.

I have a suggestion. I don't want to give away merits in a bunch because there are traps of fake constructive users. I think 1 merit is motivational gift enough for newbies. For higher rank, it plays as minor gift.Maybe this thread would be more alive and many more members will be interested even in creating brand new threads only for this purpose if the award would be higher. Let's say 5 merits. I was the winner of one of the editions and know that I expected more merits despite there is 1 merit in the thread topic. People are like that, we always want more and maybe this is something to consider. This is just a suggestion because I see this thread catch no attention lately after a good start. I am very happy with my one merit and appreciate it. For coming visitors, please don't spam the topic to get activity point. June 06, 2019, 04:42:13 PM

Check day again (I actually checked all applications one day earliert than the checkday), for the third week of the contest, we have only 1 winner. Congratulations! Thank you @tbct_mt2, was a pleasure to share my work and get the award of 1 merit.1. wwzsocki You win due to all your applied topics. You made all constructive and helpful topics. ...For the rests, I am sorry because your suggested topics are not relevant to my contest, or too short to win... You are right that most of the posts published by other members are not relevant to this contest because I checked a couple of them (to know the concurrence ) and found that a lot of them don't match to the requirements.I assume people are just lazy and don't read the first post fully or at all only a thread subject and the latest posts before they publish an answer and that is why almost all of them are not as requested. Anyways, I am happy that the concurrence was so weak because I won and that's what matters to me. A little selfish? Maybe yes but that's the truth and I can't change it. April 29, 2019, 12:38:45 AM

Because I created the topic, Collection of comprehensive guides on identify and avoid scam projects, weeks ago. Today, I have 13 sendable merits in total which I can send them to others. So, I have intention to help lower rank users with those 13 sendable merits. I hope that I can help you with 1 sendable merit for each qualifying applicant. Requirements: 1. Finding or creating your own good posts or topics on scam finding/ investigation techniques or guides, and share links here. You will have greater chance to get 1 sMerits if you applied with topics, but good posts might be counted some how. Don't worry about it, I will verify your application. To get what kind of topics I prefer, you should spend a little time to visit my topic above, to see all current listed topics in my collection. 2. I aslo check your post history to see the general quality of your posts, and your general contribution to the forum. If your posts have acceptable quality, it means you have higher chances to win the contest and get rewards from me. I changed the rule again:
Rewards: Only one sendable merit will be send to one qualifying applicant. Acceptable ranks: From Newbie to Junior Member ranks. I focus on those ranks because crypto newcomers, and lower rank users are among the most vulnerable ones to scam projects. By finding good posts, topics on scam related things, they can help themselves first to avoid investing into scam projects, then help others as well. Application form: Please apply with the form like this: Code: Topic title Available sendable merit fund: 13 sendable merits. However, the fund might change if I have more. Regularly check point I will check all your applications and send rewards to someone who qualifying each seven-day period. So, feel free to leave applications here, and wait for results for each 7-day period. Please visit my topic, Collection of comprehensive guides on identify and avoid scam projects, in order to see all current listed topics before posting your suggestion. Your suggested topics will be wasteful if they already listed in my topic. Good luck to you all. its actually not about scam or nonscam there are now many more things failure, because of lazyness failure because of lack of funding failure becuase of higher power preventing success etc. i doubt these classifications will work regards April 24, 2019, 10:21:52 AM

I did not check all applications for the second week of the contest, but I would like to say that all applicants should read the note (that I just recently added into the OP). In fact, you should self-understand it, but I added into OP today to make the contest clearer a bit, and to avoid any complaint in the future.

Here's the thread: How to avoid ICO scam. A good way to avoid scam ICO projects HOW to 100% avoid SCAM ICOs Tips on how to avoid Scam ICO's? Reading the whole discussion thread is very time consuming and may be you still did not get the full information. It is still better that somebody have created topic explaining the tips and tricks. PS: I do not see any good/extensive guidelines posted by OP of these threads. As you can see in my another topic: Collection of comprehensive guides on identify and avoid scam projects Nice to know that you are still working on collecting all these good guides. April 13, 2019, 12:32:55 PM
I'll help finding thread on how to avoid scam ICOs or tips. Someone might need these threads to learn on how to avoid scam icos and don't get scam by those fake icos/projects. I don't know if you already found/know these threads and I found some thread tips, guide and discussions on how to spot or identify scam icos. Someone might need the threads to learn on how to identify scam icos.
Here's the thread: How to avoid ICO scam. A good way to avoid scam ICO projects HOW to 100% avoid SCAM ICOs Tips on how to avoid Scam ICO's? April 12, 2019, 09:06:43 PM
It is not the main purpose of the merit contest.
As you can see in my another topic: Collection of comprehensive guides on identify and avoid scam projects What I wanted to collect is topics that provide basic skills to investigate scam projects. So, it will be good if crypto investors can do their own research to identify projects are scam or not for their interests with their investments. Relying on scam accusations of others is not a good option for crypto investors. I can easily find out those topics but I wanted to give opportunities for others to earn merits via their contributions in the forum (even small contributions). As I noted in the OP, I will take a look at (at least) two factors before giving them reward (1 merit): - Applied topics; - General quality of applicant posts (via their post histories). I can do it myself, so I open chances for others to contribute and get rewards. Therefore, please appreciate my generosity (you can call like that, because I started with good purposes). I understood that people have to struggle with their first merits (me too, months ago), so if anyone get reward from me, from the contest, please consider it as small gift and as one of stimulation to maintain doing contributions to the forum later. Moreover, scam accusations are abundantly and you raised right ideas that most of scam accusations are wrong ones, or abused ones. Scammers, fudders who want to spread FUDs will open fake scam accusations. I don't think we need merit giveaway for hunting scam. Important note, thank you. the link of that site which is proven scam and also you'll get a virus/malware that can harm your device. I don't add scam sites to my collection, for now. Maybe, someone will add the site to their list, and if I see their list interesting, contentful, I might add their list to my collection later.Quote April 12, 2019, 05:21:09 AM
I focus on those ranks because crypto newcomers, and lower rank users are among the most vulnerable ones to scam projects. By finding good posts, topics on scam related things, they can help themselves first to avoid investing into scam projects, then help others as well. It's not only newbies and jr. members are the only one that is vulnerable to scam sites or scam icos but also member ranks which is only one step higher than jr. member rank. Well, in addition to your list (I don't know if you will add this site to your list) you might also add this site where I found not long ago. I did not bother to check when this site is created because it's obviously a scam site. I know the thread is not a guide on finding a scam related threads but this thread is a forum user posted a link to a site and later on the site is proven scam. Anyway, my goal here about sharing this information to notify forum users that this site is scam.here is the link of that site which is proven scam and also you'll get a virus/malware that can harm your device. BitStarz.live - trusted roulette, 100$ promocode for new users. But you can send your smerit to any accuser if you think their accusation is valid. I agree with this and will surely enlighten some newcomers. April 12, 2019, 05:15:16 AM
I don't think we need merit giveaway for hunting scam. All scam accusations are not accurate and its little bit hard to determine valid scam accusation. But you can send your smerit to any accuser if you think their accusation is valid. Also you can help newbie from other board as well who are making quality post. I know your intention is motivate more newbie to hunting scam. But not sure how they will recognize.
April 12, 2019, 12:02:14 AM
What you just did is no different from the scam managers out there, they promise to reward participants at the end they request for KYC so they can disqualify those that don't meet criteria without stating that from the very beginning. You just got free links from hopeful members and no credit for us finder. Anyway it's your smerits so you are free to do as you like. Thank you for the experience, it give me some time to go read through more scam advice topic. First, I appreciated your help, and contributions, but it is the same as when you join bounties, you should accept rules. There is additional rule (that I added around one day after the launch of the topic). You should accept the rule. Regularly check point The topic created on April 09, 2019, 02:48:35 PM, it means 4 more days left till the first check point, then rewards will be sent to winners.I will check all your applications and send rewards to someone who qualifying each seven-day period. So, feel free to leave applications here, and wait for results for each 7-day period. Please remember that the contest is not a first comes, first serves. I have to choose the best because I am not a merit source. Additionally, some contests have monthly checkups, not only 7 days. Winners are always winners, and it does not make any sense for you if you receive 1 merit today, or even next 7 days. You actually have a very long journey to go. Believe me, it might take you months to earn enough 10 merits to move to Member rank, or even longer. So, there is no reason to hurry with my 1-merit-give-away contest. Quote You just got free links from hopeful members and no credit for us finder I have not added any of those topics from applicants to my list. So, did I exploit your contributions April 10, 2019, 02:31:45 AM
Indeed crypto newbies are the most venerable to scams, but some one can be a newbies on this forum and not a newbies in cryptocurrency, you mode of sending merit for only newbies and Jr members is not 100%/accurate. May be a collection's of Technics's for bursting scam.

I edited requirements a little bit. I actually had such requirements in my mind, but forgot to write it down when composing the OP.
Thank you. Requirements: 1. Finding or creating your own good posts or topics on scam finding/ investigation techniques or guides, and share links here. I aslo check your post history to see the general quality of your posts, and your general contribution to the forum. If your posts have acceptable quality, it means you have higher chances to win the contest and get rewards from me. The point is if they find good topic, that is helpful for others, and has not been listed in my collection, why not give them rewards. It is contribution to the forum, even such topics are not theirs. Contributions are contributions, so let it be what it be. Old, and merited topics do not mean that every user in the forum known, it is why I collected topics for my collection. they can just paste anything that has a lot of merits without even reading all of its content, hence why I don't think the ppl who just pasted threads in here deserve any merit for it. I also update the checkpoint because I have limited sendable merits, so I have to choose best applications.Quote Regularly check point I will check all your applications and send rewards to someone who qualifying each seven-day period. So, feel free to leave applications here, and wait for results for each 7-day period. April 09, 2019, 03:46:58 PM
Being able to spot substantial posts is a lot different from creating one, and if you think about it, they can just paste anything that has a lot of merits without even reading all of its content, hence why I don't think the ppl who just pasted threads in here deserve any merit for it. Valid point. I do not know what OP is really thinking but this approach might actually encourage new members to visit the different boards aside from Altcoins Discussion and actually read & understand posts to meet the criteria. April 09, 2019, 02:05:38 PM
