A big congratulations to one of our best mods on this forum and our celebrant, 10 years is indeed worth celebrating, I myself have been here for 7 years now, and the journey have been nothing short of awesome, so far, I can testify that both this forum and bitcoin have changed my life completely, my story I believe a lot of you already know, since I've told it a couple of times on this forum.

I actually joined this forum through google, I remember searching something about bitcoin on google, and one of the results googled showed me came from this forum, I clicked, and after going around here, I decide to register, and since then, I joined this forum while working a 6 to 7 job in a local company, earning peanuts as salary every month, but in 2017, through this forum, I had the opportunity of starting my own business for the first time in my life, this was because I made a tangible sum of money from my participation in bounty hunting at that time.

So Bitcoin through this forum have changed a lot of lives, I join in celebrating you as you mark your 10 years here, and I look forward to seeing you do this again in another 10 coming years, and hope theymos never did find any reason to close this forum, for the forum have indeed become an important part of my life . Like I would always say... The best position one would find him/her self is section where you keep to do what you have passion and derives passions doing and at the same time you are being paid along the lines.
This is a situation where one would explore working on pressures and exhibits the pleasures of multitasking.

Dear OP, I am delighted of you being here for decades as said and I have just coming atleast better late than never which I am nowhere left behind.
I appreciates this forums so much in the fact that it has the capacity of unlimited storage information to be maintained for long periods, even for life with a declarative memory intense. Atleast I still have the opportunity to connect with all those missed even during your decade days at OP 😊.

I have always said this that this Bitcointalk Discussion forum is aimed to optimize a global intake aspirations triggering to networking people and explorating of individual possessions.

Worth gratitude being here, sharing and obtaining of ideal here and at the same time being rewarded. Wow. I am definitely contented with passionate ness of being here.
And if there could be a motion of leaving here for other software system, then I would raise a campaign alert that there is absolutely no necessity of leaving here though we can advance but with rest assured that some software updates sometimes lingers to the lost of its softwares operating system and the variety of utility the programs.

I AM MOST COMFORTABLE WITH INSPIRATIONS & ASPIRATIONS HERE.

~

Congratulations for reaching this significant milestone in both the forum and the bitcoin world. Your contributions to the forum are much appreciated and will be remembered. Many people, including myself, would desire to be like you or walk in your footsteps to serve as inspiration. Great achievement and more success to you.

Sadly, people living in developing nations like mine is more concerned about poverty alleviation than privacy. They are more concerned about the financial benefit of Bitcoin than the freedom and privacy it offers. Maybe it will change in the future.

I believe that health should come before privacy and complete ownership of an asset or investment. Peace of mind and how to manage your finances will only come into play when you're fine and healthy, which poverty robs individuals of. Let the people be concerned about how to double their money with bitcoin if that's the only way they can get out of poverty and enjoy a happy life in this horrible economy.

IIRC it was less than $100 at that time. I made a lot of trades, used Bitcoin in goods and services. There was always talk that Bitcoin would rise, and we always believed in it. But until 2017, it wasn't believed that it would be able to realize such high potential.
When I first joined the forum, there was talk of the rally which happened a few months ago and those who registered on the same date as me were complaining that they were late to the party. I thought I was too late most of the time back then. We used to talk about the luck of those who learned Bitcoin in 2011-12 and became a member here.
I also use to think that I am late in the Bitcoin ecosystem. But your response is proof that one might never be late in the Bitcoin race because the price has not reached ATH. In a few years newcomers will wish they were here in 2023. The best thing one should do is to avoid procrastination and take advantage of the opportunity Bitcoin offers.

It's not just about getting rich. For me, this has never been a priority. The freedom that Bitcoin promised was very appealing. I was living in a country where there were already problems with banks and government, and Bitcoin was always a way out. A large part of the society is still not aware of the advantages that Bitcoin brings. Therefore, even now I can say that to new members, it's not late.

I registered in this forum ten years ago. I've found out about Bitcoin and this forum in early 2013 but didn't need to register back then. I signed up on 26th July 2013 and I'm here for a decade. I never imagined I'd be here this long. This forum has been an important part of my life, just like Bitcoin.

Glad I decided to sign-up here 10 years ago. Here I met very good people from all nationalities, made good friends and had job opportunities. Even though sometimes I took a break from writing to the forum due to dramas and tiredness, I never stopped moderating the forum. I tried my best to make the forum work as intended.

I hope to be here longer. I think I'll stay here until Theymos decides to close the forum. I would like to see at least new forum software. Tongue
Ten years isn't ten days that's about 3'650 days, @EFS I can only buy imagine how much contributions you must've contributed to the growth, development and stability of the forum all this years. Some of us newbies do wonder at times how and when are we going to attain such levels as yours but it's now done on me that the journey is a gradual process with a lot of hardwork and consistency as long as you know what you want.  Congratulations on your one decade journey in the forum.

This forum has been an important part of my life, just like Bitcoin.

It's a very good word for me to impress. A few months ago, I found this forum but I already read many pages here to learn more. I hope I'll reach the peak early.

Here I met very good people from all nationalities, made good friends, and had job opportunities.

I appreciate you. Here I already get a few hands who help people to know much more about this forum or cryptocurrency. For that, I can say "Bitcointalk forum is a media house of brotherhood."

Long live Bitcoin for one to a thousand generations, long live Satoshi Nakamoto's unique invention.

The story of coming to the forum was beautiful.  How did you find out about this forum?  From a friend, from the Internet, or Theymos invited you to open an account here Mentioning this would have made the story more interesting   Smiley

I think I can make that as well, I'm already half of it and will be 6 years by October, been driven by hype by the 2017 bull market and those bounties to start with but not regret to sign up here as well. Thanks for your service as well for the forum, your work means something, though I rarely report these days. Yeah, that epochtalk should be here when I hit that 10 years anniversary.

Really - I totally missed the opportunity, but I also know that I'm not late to the party.

EFS - the average forum user since I've known bitcoin seems to be encourage by the desire to make money rather than the technology. I'm not denying that I'm part of them too - but that's too narrow a mindset to stick with without wanting to change.

Bitcoin has provided many opportunities for any user to be able to take advantage of the innovation that comes with it - but sometimes regulations are still a barrier to adoption cases between them. So of course it's never too late if they don't just recognize bitcoin as an investment asset and ignore more of its innovation - but all in all I'd love to hear about those of you who may have adopted bitcoin before us.

Just out of curiosity - EFS, tell me how much bitcoin was worth when you first bought it 10 years ago.
You must have bought it at very low - but what I'm most curious about is how you've overcome all the hurdles over the past decade. Hope you can share your experience here - obviously I would really appreciate that from you.

Not all of us had the chance to become bitcoin investors in its early days - but you are one of the many forum users who very likely has experience with it. I hope you have an interesting story about it.

I must not step out without dropping my own complement here in congratulating EFS for making it a successful decade on bitcointalk, this is something i will always wanted to one day see myself also in this kind of celebration because it's an achievement others were not privileged to discover or join the forum 10 years ago, i wonder how many people of his time still made it with the forum till date, you have shown the best on what you've got to be an active member but not only that, you're also a prominent asset to the forum and I wish you more wins and loads of achievements in life.

Wow!! A whooping ten years, am just starting to wonder all the dramas and fun you would have encountered during your stay here. Ten years isnt any joke and it must have taken share dedication to actually still be here. I wish to also achieved such height as you have here on the forum if not even more and this type of thread just gives me a moral booster in Knowing all the thought is actually possible if only there is focus and will to achieve this.

You were very lucky that you signed up for the forum 10 years ago because even in 2013 very few people were smart enough to know about Bitcoin and this forum, and to my surprise you are one of them. Your journey with this forum is truly inspiring and amusing at the same time, and it gives hope to others that sticking with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Talk forum is one of the best things a Bitcoin enthusiast does.

I congratulate you on your 10 years journey on this forum and I really wish that you would stay on the forum as long as the forum will be online. This forum is really our 2nd family and we all have really great times on this forum, some of us might not be that active while others are active since 2013 like you. I hope that you will stay with us and this forum for your whole life as this forum is truly a way for us to be determined with our goals and continue to grow better as Bitcoin lovers.
