Well for me its philippines time from Capital Murder of Asia to Safest Country in the Whole World. But after all we need to achieve dreams of our president eventhough it is hard to get it. Love, hate, joy, regret, hope, despair and everything about it. Just walk until we reach the true light we desire in our country. No filipinos wants to destroy their own country.

I essentially feel more or less similarly. But what I concluded was I am not a Filipino citizen (only a guest in their country) thus it isn't my decision to make.

All I can say is that I am neutral about this topic. I wouldn't say that I agree with Duterte's methods since it involves killing, etc. of drug addicts but I also wouldn't say that I disagree with him since it somewhat made the surrounding here in the Philippines safer. Ill just monitor what he'll do next and hope that it would take Philippines to economy or safety improvement not war, chaos etc.

There is no such thing as a fair system, when you give authority to someone. No matter how you slice it, power is always corruptible. The American justice system is horrendously corrupted, even though we have the formalities of arrest, court, and a farce of due process.


You don't seem to understand that if they are allowed to go court, then corruption begins. People bribe judges, bribe prison guards, etc.. It just doesn't work. It has been tired (tried) already and was failing miserably.


You don't understand. The filipino people voted this system into existence. They can vote it out, if they decide it is not working well. This is called democracy. Why don't you respect the will of the Filipino people?

I guess i have to second this thought. This is basically what's wrong - let the wrong thing go without the it undergoing the correct process. It won't be long before people realize this and take advantage. People are dying everywhere and the police aren't really that much helping with their investigations. If this goes on and on. You can just kill everyone and go unpunished.

To have a fair justice system. They are not investigated by the legal authority.  They could be arrested instead of executed at the spot. Its not so difficult to use tear gas, flashlight or shoot criminal in leg. Do you not have sniper rifle in Philippines? Just wait until they go out of the building

They should go to trial to let court decide. The police shouldn't be the lawyer, the politician, the military all in one

You are missing the main point. The main problem is that the Western countries have promised everything to the people via socialism, and so they can't reduce taxes and get out of debt. They are tied to welfare payments and healthcare payments for everyone forever. And they don't have enough youth to pay for it, because they kill most of their babies in the womb or with birth control. Westerners are very close to Satan. And they destroy the youth, for example marijuana is now legal in my mother's home state of Washington.

Whereas, in Asia you have to pay your own costs (even for education). Individual responsibility instead of letting the government pay for everything. That is why Asia can write off the debt and start anew.

You will see China crash until 2020 and the USA dollar will actually go up until 2018 or so. This will make it appear that Durterte was wrong. He will have egg on his face for a couple of years.

But then China will bottom 2020 and start going up.

But USA and Europe will just keep going down and down because Westerners love "free" (paid for with debt) government handouts.

Now the filipinos are starting to copy the Westerners and now you have PhilHealth. So in the future, when you make birth control widespread and don't have enough  youth to pay the PhilHealth for everyone, then you Asians will be in the same problem as we Westerners are in today.

Don't copy our birthcontrol bullshit!!! Your large population and large families are not your problem. The problem was the USA was hoisting up your overlords in your country holding you down.

How many times are you natives going to be fooled when the white man hands you a mirror in exchange for your land? The lies about global warming and birth control are just another mirror. But I know this will all change over the next several years. We will see an invasion of Chinese into the Philippines and the admiration will shift based on "no money, no honey".

But it is okay because I am 51 and on the tail end of my dating lifestyle. I'll probably head out of the Philippines finally as the Chinese take over.

And I am not proud of what America did to your country. Although I will say afaik that we did build a lot of schools after WW2. But so much other bad shit we did such as try colonize your country after helping to liberate you from Spain. Always global politics involved.

One thing Durterte is wrong about is that Man Made Global Warming is junk science and a lie hoisted by the elite to control the countries. If I could talk to him, I would explain that he is wrong to think the drought in Mindanao was caused by Global Warming. If you have any way to inform others and get the word to him, please do.

Why would you need a trial? Those people that are getting arrested were proven and investigated that they are drug addicts. Everyone was given their second chances and those that are getting arrested will just be put in jail for them to have a trial, of course. But if they fight during the operation, then the policeman would have to fight too. I guess even in your country, if a criminal pulls out a gun and points it to a policeman, a policeman would have to pull his gun too, right? There's no difference at all.

Or were you suggesting to have a trial before they go to the drug addicts house? Please don't get me wrong but it's literally the same process with you guys, I don't know why are you thinking differently of our country. They go to the house of the criminal to arrest him/her and have a trial in the court. If the criminal tries to escape/resist by killing or hurting the policeman, then the policeman would have to fight back.

90% of all Filipinos? I believe not. I do admire him fornhis courageous attempt to stop crimes but his so called war has done a lot of damage to innocents. I know what he is doin is for our country but his method isbm getting out of control that most people I know are already afraid at night because they neverbknow when will a gunshot be fired at someone at their homes.Not a lot. That is what the media wanted the whole world about Mr.  Duterte, a dictator.  But ask everyone here in the Philippines and 90%  trust him so much.  The world is just focus on his cursing and the fight against drug but forget to see the other things like what are listed above.

Senator LAcson even mentioned that it feels almost a year when he learned how much the Deterte administration had accomplished.
He had been a senator for more than 2 terms and he hasn't been with an administration that does things quicker in just a year.
