But that doesn't make it better or worse than dollars because of course you can also do that with dollars too, in fact I'm sure dollars are still much more popular for that service.

Well, yeah, if they cracked your encryption or managed to find all backups of your wallet, well then they could. But what is the chance/risk of that happening?
